    UK newbie here saying hello!

Hi Brighton Belle, I am being done by mr Galloway on the 16th of september, would be keen to hear your experience. Good luck with surgery not long now you must be so excited. I was at the Nuffield today getting my preop stuff done eep eep so nervous!!! xxx
  5. oh my god how horrible for you. I guess the moral of the story is get what you can in liquid form huh. Can I just give everyone a wee warning about crushing pills/splitting capsuals etc though (not to be a super nag or anything) make sure that you can do this first as crushing some pills changes the way it is used/licensed and if there are any ill effects the company can't be held liable. It also goes into your system faster. Don't want anyone to get sick or have bad effects from doing this!!! Hope you are doing great now though and onward and upward!! xxoxo
  6. hiya, i don't know yet if i have lost weight because the scale broke grrrrr, however my thoughts on this might be that (depending on what diet you are doing) your body may have gone into starvation mode and is holding onto the fat, this tends to pass quite quickly though (my experience from on of the many liquid diets i've been on). I hope this is the case and good luck x
  7. thanks folks and good luck to you all - now on milk diet day 2 arghhhhhhhhhhhh.......1st shift but it is going to be great. Have a brilliant day xoxo
  8. Hello all new to the board and getting banded in glasgow scotland on the 16th september. Starting the pre-op milk diet today for two weeks and am quaking in my boots!! 3 pints of milk, two low fat yogs and a stock cube only per day. So worried that I am going to fall flat on my face at the first hurdle. I have a very demanding job working in a acute medical ward 4 x 12.5 hours a week and am scared i won't be able to hack it. Anyone else about to embark on this type of pre-op diet that wants support and to support let me know. Good luck to all you scrumptious september banders xxx
