I was banded in May. I am doing wonderful and happy I made the decision. I am down 30lbs and I had the lapband. I was banded in Denver by Dr. Michael Metz. I was self pay and it cost me $9,900. They just went up to $12,500 in June so I got in just right under the deadline.

Make sure you are in the right frame of mind. No need to do this if you are not going to act right and change habits. I see so many people bitch and moan in here then you ask them what they are eating and you get the real story. The band is a tool....use it wisely!
