I am to the point where I really need to watch more of what I am eating. Considering doing South Beach for a few months. Can't get anymore restriction. I got too full before summer and just now getting back to where I need to be as far as ccs go.

Things are going pretty good. I am down between 25-30 lbs. I had to go in for a bit of an unfill about 3 weeks ago. I was pbing every day and could hardly eat anything. Trying not to get frustrated about things going slow. I just remind myself that the band is there and I have to be patient. I had it in my mind that I would loose all of my weight in one year! I am glad things are going well for you!

I have a 14cc band and I think I have somewhere between 9-10ccs in there now. I will find out for sure when I go in tomorrow.

Yes, it is strange. After a fill, I usually go down a few pounds, but by the time I go in for my next fill one month later, I am back up again. Getting frustrated!!

I am still slow also! I had lost a few and thought I hit my sweet spot, but then the holidays hit. I don't think I overate, just at alot of the wrong things! I am hoping to get back on track the next couple of weeks before my next appointment. Trying not to get frustrated, but I wanted to be down more by now!!

I went in for my 3rd fill yesterday. I stayed exactly the same from 2 weeks ago. I hope this gives me some more restriction to move forward as I do not go in for another 4 weeks!!

Yes, I went yesterday and I have lost 3lbs. She only put in another .3cc in this time. I think I am pretty close to the sweet spot!

Don't get discouraged! When I went in yesterday, I was the same weight as my 1 week post-op, actually about 1 lb. more. They told be that is pretty normal--no worries!!

Got my 1st fill today. It was really no biggie!! I found out I have a 14cc band, and there was 6 ccs in there from surgery. I got another 1.1 ccs in. The nurse practioner said that most need 8-10 ccs. I go back in two weeks. How are you doing?

I get my first fill on the 19th of this month. I honestly don't know what kind of band I have. I meant to ask the Dr. when I went in for my post op. We will make it!!

Hey, nice to meet you too! We do have near the same weight loss goals. I am trying to lose between 70-80 lbs. My BMI was/is 37. You may be right, I have thought of the same thing. We do not have as muchto lose, so it may be slow going at first. I feel the same, it is hard not to get depressed over it. When do you get your first fill?

Hello! We are trying to lose about the same. I would like to lose between 70-80 lbs. My BMI was/is 37. You may be right, we don't have as much to lose, so it is slow going. I live near Kansas City? Where are you?

How frustrating!! Hopefully you will hear soon. I asked my doc when I went in for my first post-surgical visit if he put fluid in, he said he put just enough in to establish equilibrium. I had to be on liquids for 1 day, then after that I was on mushies for 3-4 days, the progressed to regular foods. I was pretty hungry on mushies only because I did not feel like eating what I could eat. You have to get pretty creative with the food processor!!

Saw your message on the board and thought I would respond here. Actually, I got to start mushies over the weekend--only 4 days from surgery. While it is nice to have some variety in my eating choices, it is still hard. I have lost 14lbs total, 6 since surgery.
I still cannot believe I ended up doing this. I have 80-90 lbs to loose, kind of on the low side for most getting the surgery. I keep trying to remind myself of all of the good changes that are going to come out of this!!
