Hi. Nice to meet you. Im 28 married with two kids and a great hubby. I was banded July 16th in Mexico. I am trying to lose 60 pounds with the lap band. My BMI is just over 35. Do you mind telling me how much youre trying to lose? I was thinking maybe we are losing slower because our BMI is lower than a lot of people who were banded. IDK. I cant figure out why every one else seems to lose 20 pounds in the first month and I have only lost a few since surgery. My Dr says the same thing as yours, not to worry about losing weight before the fill. But its hard not to get a little depressed over it. Everyone else is losing and Im just doing my best to stay the same.
