:sick Ugh, Im sick today. Sore throat, headache, earrache, chills, fever.. yuck. I didn't eat on any type of schedule, just ate when my meds were keeping the pain at bay. Breakfast: Atkins + Unjury Lunch: Nothing Supper: Salmon spread, kashi crackers. Snacks: a coupls SF puddings, they made my throat feel better for a bit. Vitamins.. ugh I forgot, illl go taks some right now. water: I don't know. Exercise.. ya right.:sick

No exercise for me today folks, horrible ... I mean HORRIBLE sore throat, earache, headache, chills, fever etc. UGH.

Hey way to go everyone who met the challenge! And a big yay to Jane! I went for a walk with the family yesterday so I met it too. Today I have a super bad sore throat and earache ughh. I never get sick so this royally sucks. I might hop on into the emergency room in case its strep throat, I've already met all my deductibles and copays for the year as I had a baby in April. So I figure why suffer for an extra day if I don't have to lol.

I have an idea for you if you really end up at the fridge everynight.. Put some high protien items in the front of the fridge, like deli slices, cheese sticks, pepparoni slices, or jerky etc. It will probably help you to lose more weight if you eat a small snack that is carb. free in the middle of the night.

Unflavored Protein Powder, Do You Or Don't You?

I like the chocolate Unjury the best. The unflavored is good in chocolate milk but in regular foods I haven't liked it much. Ive been adding a scoop of the unflavored to my morning shake, and thats pretty good, but in food.. naa. Just my oppinion. -
Ya Im annoyed by the dramatic farewells too. Right on Aussie Chick. LOL people can take your suggestion or leave it I guess, but if you can stop anymore of that blatant annoying woe is me, im the victom stuff .. I say yay. I come here for lap band support not a soap opera. I barely want to type this post as it might perpetuate some kind of drama lol so this is the last I will say anything on this thread. Seriously.

Chris, Good job! How is school going? Mary, has it already been 8 weeks? wowzers. 25 LBS!! double wowzers. I'm so proud of you I can't get my yahoo to work?? Earlier I couldn't even get online, It said something was wrong with my IP address, whatever that means. Can't wait to have another one of our fun chats. Keep up the good work! I have a challenge for everyone.. take a 30 minute walk or swim or something OUTSIDE today. Then report it on here. Lets see how many of us can meet this challenge.. I dare ya. Good luck everyone!

Yippee skippee, im down another pound. I was on #209 for almost a week. But today its officially 208! Yesterday during one of my many scale sessions (lol) I was at 207ish but I won't count that because it wasn't at that for long. Today I want to stay on track and eat healthy. I think I have a rib out of place so I don't think I'll do treadmil today. I want to eat something bad to reward myself.. some reward though if I end up gaining the precious pound I lost back! I won't reward myself with food anymore! 9:00 am Breakfast: Atkins + Unjury 12.00 pm Lunch: Chicken spread, 16 Kashi Crackers. 3:30 pm Snack: 2 SF pudding cups. Why did I feel the need to have 2??? 6:00 pm Supper: Chicken and Broccoli. Exercise: Walk with the family 1.5 miles. Water: > 70 oz, vitamins: Liquid multi, Calcium, Biotin Goal: Treadmil tomorrow.

Sherri Sherri Sherri! Oh my goodness hun, you are in a bad state. Take a big breath.. take a few...Your post was packed with info. so I don't even know where to start. Goodness and you are living through it all too and im just sitting here reading it. Ok here goes: 1st. you've 'ONLY' lost 35 pounds.. in such a LONG time of 2 months??? 35 Pounds in 2 months is fantastic, seriously. If you kept on with losing at that pace you would lose 210 pounds in a year! That would not even be healthy. Chill about the weight loss, try to eat right and exercise as much as you can.. things will happen, you will lose more weight. Secondly, the reason everything is getting stuck is probably due to stress! When im stressed the same thing happens to me and I don't even have a fill yet! Try taking a long hot soak in the tub and then eat slowly, chew chew chew. Thirdly the husband issues... Will your husband agree to see someone about his greif over the divorce of his parents? It might really help him and you too. You guys need some time together away from your building project. The only thing dreamy about buiding a dream house is... hmm I can't think of anything dreamy about building a dream house lol. My husband and I have been through MANY building projects together, we own lots of properties and real estate together. And we have many a time been stressed to the max over it. The fun dreamy part doesn't happen until you are DONE with the construction lol. So go on a weekend get away, have some drinks, have some intimacy, try to reconnect. If thats not possible at least go out to dinner and to a movie. Go Mexican, it seems to go down pretty easy. For one night don't worry about calories or construction. Just take a break from it all. Tell your husband as many warm fuzzy things you can think of. Tell him how attracted to him you still are and how happy he makes you and how you feel so sorry for him being under the stress he's been under. Tell him that you appreciate how he has been so supportive your decision to be banded and how lucky you feel to have such an understanding man in your life. LOL I don't know if you agree with all this stuff im typing but my point is appeal to his male ego, they are more willing to open up and talk about whats really bothering them when you do. And lastly throw that zanex away if you are really having thoughts of taking them all. Call the emergency room if you are suicidal. I think you were kidding but just in case you're not.. It will be ok, it really will. Keep writing on here for support. Just think in a year from now you'll be living in your dream house, you'll be thin, you're husband will hopefully find peace in this storm he's going through. You have so much to look forward to. Look ahead.

I will not succumb to its pull however, instead I will journal .. and exercise! 7:30 am Breakfast: Atkins + Unjury. 1:00 pm Lunch: LQ Swedish Meatballs, a couple bites of left over taco meat. 5:00 pm Snack: SF chocolate pudding. 7:00 pm Supper: 1/2 a steak grilled, 3/4 cup potatoes, 1/2 cup green beans. Vitamins: 2 Tbs. multi, 1 Calcium, 1500 mcg biotin. Exercise: 15 Min 3mph 5% incline, 10 Min. 3.3mph 5% incline, 5 Min. 4 mph 0% incline. Water: >70 oz. I just got done exercising too! Yippee, I really pushed myself today. When I got on the scale it said 207.6... then later I weighed myself it said 209. Grr tomorrow if it says anything below 209 Im changing my ticker immediately. 209:fencing:207 Goal: I kept the calories to about 1000 today. I exercised pretty hard for my abilitys. I really hope Im down at least a few ounces tomorrow!! Oh well at least im getting toned everytime I exercise.. that counts for a lot. So my goal for tomorrow is to exercise and no ice cream.

Telly, I can't wait unti I can keep up with you!! So far today: 15 min. 3 mph 5% incline 10 min. 3.3 mph 5% incline 5 min. 4 mph 0% incline This was an increase for me to do the 3.3 and I only did that because Telly said if you're not huffing and puffing you are wasting your time.. Hmpf! I don't have time to waste. Thanks for the heads up Telly.

I paid $15000.00 for the surgery itself, $200.00 for an initial consultation with the doctor, $2500.00 for two round trip flights to Houston, another $1200.00 for my sister to fly down with me, Hotels $350.00. Another $300.00 for a nurse sitter at my hotel. So in total I spent: $19550.00 out of my pocket, yikes its the first time Ive added it up. But if I can get to my goal weight and stay there it will be worth it to me.

Yayyy Mary, Jeans are such a victory to fit into! Congratulations. I too was a lay on the bed to zip my pants girl for as long as I can remember until the invention of stretch jeans lol. And I used the hanger method too lol. Jane, I don't really have anything to say except thanks for mentioning me in your post, you are such a sweet heart. Hey we have something in common, I too am 5 ft. 2 in. and my husband is 6 ft. 4 in. lol. Interesting wedding photos. I wore very high heels. LOL my feet were killing me. Beth, geez woman thats too bad you have your phobia about leaving your home. Thank goodness you are taking the steps to change your life. I hope that when you get all thin and healthy and HOT HOT HOT you won't be able to resist getting out and about to show yourself off. But at least you will be feeling good about yourself. Hey 'Colleen' :couch2: Geez its funny how differant doctors have such differant oppinions. My doctor recommends that every breakfast be a shake and then for the rest of the day absolutely no liquid calories. I guess its still a science experiment with the band.

Here's an idea, go shopping for new shoes buy them for her. Then both of you go get a pedicure together. After the pedicure have her put her new shoes on and throw the old ones in the trash. Then go buy her some foot scrub to use daily in the shower. Also make sure she is wearing COTTON socks not synthetic ones. And clean socks everyday! And bleach her socks when you do wash.

Forgot to weigh myself before eating breakfast and drinking water. Oh well maybe Ill actually see a differance tomorrow. I can't believe I forgot and Im such a scale addict too lol. 7:00 am Breakfast: 1pk. instant cream wheat, 1/2 c. skim millk, 1SF choc. pudding, 1 Scoop unjury. This was not very tasty, the protein powder ruined my beloved chocolate goo. Yuck, at least it was hopefully healthy.:ermm 11:30 am Lunch: LQ swedish meatballs. 5:30 pm Snack: 8 Kashi crackers 7:00 pm Supper: Taco salad (shredded lettuce, Taco meat, avacado, FF sour cream, onion, salsa) SF chocolate pudding. Vitamins: 2T. liquid multi, 1 Calcium chew, 1500 mcg biotin Water: >70 oz. Exercise: Cleaned my house because my house-cleaner was scheduled to come today.. why do I even have a house cleaner? lol ugh, oh well at least my showers are scrubbed out weekly. Goal: Do treadmil tomorrow, jog for at LEAST 5 min, up my walking speed to 3.5 mph from 3 mph. Also eat less carbs, go back to having my shake for breakfast.

Bawling like a baby and don't know what to do

One word, DAYCARE. The baby would be better off at daycare than with a grandma who is physically and emotionally unable to care for her. Plus at 11 months she would love to watch other children playing and have different/new toys to occupy her. Even if you just bring her there for a couple hours it would be a nice break for both baby and you. -
Hmm no movage on the scale today, big surprise! Well today I am going to exercise. Tonight Im having supper with my grandparents so we'll see what ends up being on the menu. 8:00 am Breakfast: 1 instant cream of wheat, 1/2 c. calorie countdown milk, 1 SF chocolate pudding. 11:00 am Lunch: LQ Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo.. my first noodles since banding.. I've died and gone to heaven. No problems eating it whatsever, I made sure to eat the chicken chunks first, 21g. protein, 280 cals., delish! 3:00 pm Snack: 1/2 avacado mashed, 10 Kashi crackers. 6:00 pm Supper: 1 c. mashed potatoes, 1/2 cup of pork chops, 1/2 cup of mushroom gravy, a few bites of creamed cucumers. Vitamins: 2T. Liquid multi, 1 Calcium chew, 1500 mcg Biotin Water: >64oz. Exercise: 25 Min. 3 mph 5% incline, 2 Min. 4 mph no incline Goal: I ate about 1300 calories today, Im curious to see if any change occurs on the scale, I may be eating too much.. Eat less tomorrow if the scale doesnt move in the negetive direction. Im going to be so busy tomorrow im not sure if i'll get to exercise.. we'll see. Ohh and btw I only had 1 pudding and I did exercise! yay.

Leona, I love hearing that you are doing so great! Yayyy for you :couch2: I just love your posts in general your life sounds very fun and exciting. BigGirlPantiez & Jane, Why don't you guys drink a protein shake for breakfast? I mean if you have time for real food do that but, if not just grab the shake and go. BGPantiez (whats your name?lol) you could drink the protein shake quick and then go right to your coffee, you'll probably have more energy for working out. Plus if you are having trouble getting protein in it will help on that too. Im a chocolataholic so I enjoy a chocolate atkins shake plus one scoop of CHOCOLATE unjury protein powder www.unjury.com. This combo has 35g. of protein in it, and believe me with all that protein its filling. Plus as a bonus it cures my chocolate craving.
