Hi there! I caught the tail end of Biggest Loser. Sheesh it looks like their work outs are tough!! I had my first fill today It went really well. They tried once to do it without fluero, didn't work. So after one poke they put me into the fluro machine and bam they got it right away. They put in 1.3cc's I have the band that holds up to 4cc's. It was the first time meeting with my new doctor closer to home... ladies I feel so lucky! He is just so nice. Im on liquid diet for 2-3 days. Weww I hope I lose faster.

Im young too Scribby, 29, and yes I know how to vote. And I have taught my younger siblings how to vote as well as many of their friends. They didn't know how. Shocking isn't it? If people choose not to vote thats one thing, if they just don't know how and are too embarrassed to admit it.. well thats another. And I think when people make broad statements against people who don't vote, they make people who don't know how to vote due to ignorance, embarrassed to ask for help.

Carlene, I disagree with you a little bit on this issue because it contradicts itself. Many people (especially younger generations) do not vote because they don't know how to. Do you know many highschools no longer have civics as part of their curriculum? I want everyone to voice their oppinions, right, wrong, or indifferant. The more communication there is the better. If people who didn't vote coudln't criticize an elected official well we might miss out on an important point of view. I think those of us who do vote should really reach out and help younger folks vote too. I think someone should start a grass roots campaign to do soemthing about this issue. I heard on the news that WalMart is doing something with their employees in this regard. Does anyone know what im talking about? lol I don't know the details.

You know why I think this thread is working? Because it started out with a vote! Voting is a powerful and empowering thing!

LOL Remedial Band Diet Training! I like that. The same thing happens to me whenever I eat mexican??!! I always say to myself .. oh Ive really blown it today.. and then the next morning Im down a pound or something lol. I kind of think that starving body theory has some merit. If you eat the right combination of more calories the body will shed more weight than if you starve the body. Hmpf. :hungry:

It took one 10 years but she finally got pregnant, and others many years also. But they all succeeded and have beutiful children now . I prayed for them, and I'll pray for you. I was BMI 42 when I got pregnant with my last baby, and I had no problems. And I too have seen women much bigger than myself have healthy babies. You're going to be a great mother! You're nice personality shines through even in the little bits you've typed on our Julyster thread.

Dezadoo, whats your BMI currently? Do you have other health complications associated with obesity? Have you ever considered a second oppinion from a differant doctor? Just curious. I've never heard that they didn't allow IVF for overweight mothers.

Before my first daughter I wore a size 7 shoe, then after I wore a 7 1/2-8, and now I think I need an 8 1/2. I was talking to my aunt on my fathers side and she said her feet have never stopped growing (she's thin btw) she said about every 7-8 years she goes up 1/2 a size. lol is my family weird or have any of you experience this? I was very busy today! I had to run daughter to school at 7 am, then home, had a mountain of bills that had to be paid online. We have 5 constructions projects going and in the works right now that I have a lot to do with. I REALLY wanted to do treadmil, but life got in the way. Stetsi Stefani you keep up the good work. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to report better. Later in the week will FOR sure be better.

I don't mind social programs, I think they are necessary. We need a good business person who can keep the money actually going constuctively to causes and not into the great abyss of beurocrats, and able bodied slackers. Its funny because I come from a family of very meager means. My father grew up in a household with a singe (working) mother of 11 children.. her husband ran off. So my dad's survival depended on social programs. And then my dad was a very proud man who would never ever abuse the system and my entire life we paid for everything and he never missed a day of work. But he was a definite democrat. Now I've acheived more monitairily than he did, probably due to his good example and work ethic, and im starting to think more along fiscally conservative lines lol. I would never want to admit this to my dad! LOL, but when you have more money its hard to see such a huge chunk of it going to uncle sam.. Especially when its to fund a civil war in Iraq! And to give the Ultra-rich oil money rich people big tax breaks. Grrr.

Sherrie, Im with you, I don't want to get overfilled! Im nervous as heck about it. It seems like a lot of the threads where people have major problems it always starts with an overfill. I've heard Dr. Curry is a good doc though. Im sure she knows what she is doing. But just remember it is your body and your life and if the little voice inside you is telling you something.. don't be afraid to listen to it! LOL I had the IV problem also. I put 3 bandaids over it and said I burned myself ironing. It worked.
