Well, after being a big person my whole 24 years, The time has come, I decided in June that I wanted to have lap band surgery after watching my mother go through it. She did fabulous and looks like a totally different, healthier person. I wasn't so big until after I got pregnant and then had a car accident leaving me disabled, then the lbs just started stacking up! After the birth of my son, I just continued to gain after having my leg broke again and being in a wheelchair! I seen my dr for the first time on July 31, 2009 and decided on Lap Banding. I started a diet the same day... And have lost 57 lbs as of Oct. 28th 2009, About the same time I was approved for surgery. It didn't even take a week to approve me. And my date is Dec. 14th....I'm counting down the days and CANNOT WAIT!!!! I just wanna feel better, and be able to do things with my family and son!! Hope to have some support from members on here through my journey to a healthier me!! :)
