I'm also a grazer.. I will think I did good all day then I realize I actually ate all day long just lil bits all day..

Riley, thank you so much... I am a slave to sweets... I also eat bulk.. Not fast food bulk but bulk when I do eat even at home.... Anyway, yeah sweets are my biggest down fall... as in candy, cakes, Ice cream.. I crave them so much.. Not soda... never been a soda or coffee drinker... I am just doing my research.

She said with a bmi of 42 and NO HEALTH issues.. the gastric would go very smooth and would probably be my best choice. She said she normally doesn't tell people that but that she feels that its best. I sat there like.. wow if my surgeon feels that I would do better with the gastric she should know best right??

Thank you.. I just hope I make the right decision for me... I just feel she as the surgeon felt that the gastric was what was best for me... Because of my bmi and health... I dunno :cursing:

Congrats Heather... Wow that is awesome. Thanks for all the comments on the issues you guys had before you chose. I am so confused. I am just gonna take my time and figure it out as I go. Ill let you know what I end up deciding... first I gotta lose 13 pounds

Thank you Riley.. I am really confused on what is best for me. The only reason I didn't want lap band was becasue I am scared of my stomach being separated into two... I want what is going to help me with the life long change... From what she was saying the gastric would be a better fit... I dunno... need to do more research before I make a decision.

13 pounds is a lot of me since it takes the act of god for me to lose weight. Also she was saying without saying.. that for me the gastric would be best. I left feeling so undecided... UGH... Anyway, she was very informative and straight forward. Ohhhh why is there so many overweight people who work there??? I was confused. I'm not being rude but it's like going to a skinny baker. Don't you like your own bread???? I dunno...

Olay lovies. I love Dr. Park. She is great. Couldn't have been happier. I had my Orientation on the 14 today I had my consult with Dr. Parks. She wants me to lose 13 more pounds before I schedule for surgery. I also got an appointment today and already seen the phyc. I got in on a cancellation today at 1130. So now I have to lose the 13 pounds before I see the case manager and schedule my surgery!!!!

btw, love hearing how much weight you all have lost. It just keeps me motivated... Friday, what time is the class and where?

Okay girls. I have my surgeon appt at ten. Is seven too early to leave from Roseville? I think I am gonna hit traffic either way right???

Okay... I just want to say you all are awesome.. I just got done doing my paperwork cause I think they are gonna ask for it when I see the surgeon. I don't know for sure but better safe then sorry. I do have to say that filling that paper out about if you die... Or if you are close to dying... what do you want.. cremation or burial.. OMG... I started feeling really anxious... Anyway, I appreciate all of your honesty. I can't wait to write something that might be helpful to someone. I am just starting so not a lot to write so far. Lets get together again girls...

Dr Fisher was the one who gave the orientation... skinny gray haired guy... I have an appointment with Dr. Park on the 17 of this month!! Should I call and ask for Baggs instead of Parks? I wish I would have gotten baggs... Darn it

Okay ladies, Orientation was long.. But interesting... I almost felt overwhelmed.. If I hadn't met you ladies and talked to you all about what you have been through I would have walked out of there feeling defeated... I don't think I would have continued.. Anyway, Just got home and need some sleep. Slept soooo bad last night... Congrats on the inches lost!!!! have a great day ladies.

OMG Nicole.. You crack me up.... I would rather be thin and healthy with some lose skin I can hopefully take care of... Then fat and unhealthy and not around to see my grandchildren grow up.. Not that I have any yet.. but I'm sure I will one day...LOL and in no hurry for that either.

Hey girlies, I am so excited about starting this thing... I can't stop waiting for the 14th... I hope and pray to get dr. Baggs... momof3, what sex is your kiddos? I have two boys and my baby is the girl.. Boys are awful around 17-19 then all of a sudden they are better... I hope it doesn't change at 21.. Ugh, My daughter was the worse at about 13.. All hormonal now a total love bug... may you be blessed and blessed...
