I'm on Facebook, Chad Perzanowski Hough. I use that all the time with my friends. I guess I have moved through all of the food weeks. The PA at Dr. M's said to try each week about 4-5 days as I could tolerate I could move up. I need to do better about my protein and water intake. Bread seems to be tough to eat. And I need to slow down and chew better. I've had a few painful moments.

hey are you on facebook or myspace? that seems to be an easier way to communicate....what food week are you on? what kinds of foods are you eating? wondering how i can help till you go see dr m...

Weird, I just saw your message and was reading your blog and looking at your photography site. Very good stuff. You're extremely talented!
I'm getting discouraged. The first 2 weeks I lost 25lbs. I was so excited. Then my appetite kicked up a notch, I visited my folks in Wilmington, and have just been hungry. I have my first appointment with Dr. M the end of this month. Maybe I'll get my first fill. I've heard that helps with the staying full. :-(

Surgery went really well. It was at 8am and I was out of the hosptial by 1030am going home. I slept a lot that day. I've only had to take the pain meds 2 times. I havent' been too sore, it feels like I've done 1000 sit ups. The liquid diet is ok. This is going to be such a huge change.
How are you doing?

Been reading some of your posts.. You are an inspiration! I too have had the same feelings about whether or not it was "Worth it"... Times when I want to eat and can't.. but overall, I LOVE MY BAND! I am down about 70 pounds now in a little over a year.. and I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT! But anybody ever says something about me taking the EASY WAY OUT... don't know what they are talking about! This was a life-changing experience.. and the band don't do it alone! You have to be committed! Keep up the good work!
