  1. Happy 34th Birthday mscook!

  2. 2 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 2nd Anniversary mscook!

  3. I'm on Facebook, Chad Perzanowski Hough. I use that all the time with my friends. I guess I have moved through all of the food weeks. The PA at Dr. M's said to try each week about 4-5 days as I could tolerate I could move up. I need to do better about my protein and water intake. Bread seems to be tough to eat. And I need to slow down and chew better. I've had a few painful moments.

  4. hey are you on facebook or myspace? that seems to be an easier way to communicate....what food week are you on? what kinds of foods are you eating? wondering how i can help till you go see dr m...

  5. Weird, I just saw your message and was reading your blog and looking at your photography site. Very good stuff. You're extremely talented!

I'm getting discouraged. The first 2 weeks I lost 25lbs. I was so excited. Then my appetite kicked up a notch, I visited my folks in Wilmington, and have just been hungry. I have my first appointment with Dr. M the end of this month. Maybe I'll get my first fill. I've heard that helps with the staying full. :-(

  6. hey how are you feeling?

  7. yeah it does feel like a million sit ups....but the does go away...jsut make sure you rest and dont over do it! glad your feeling good =) im doing well...gained 5 pounds over a vacation lol so im working on losing those again or at least not gaining any more...its always a work in progress!!!

  8. Surgery went really well. It was at 8am and I was out of the hosptial by 1030am going home. I slept a lot that day. I've only had to take the pain meds 2 times. I havent' been too sore, it feels like I've done 1000 sit ups. The liquid diet is ok. This is going to be such a huge change.

    How are you doing?

  9. hey!! how did your surgery go? how are you feeling?

  10. yeah i think we sat next to each other at the last meeting! Good luck with your surgery, you will do well!!!

  11. Wow, that pics are amazing. What a transformation. My surg is scheduled for 30th of this month. Soooo nervous!

  12. Been reading some of your posts.. You are an inspiration! I too have had the same feelings about whether or not it was "Worth it"... Times when I want to eat and can't.. but overall, I LOVE MY BAND! I am down about 70 pounds now in a little over a year.. and I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT! But anybody ever says something about me taking the EASY WAY OUT... don't know what they are talking about! This was a life-changing experience.. and the band don't do it alone! You have to be committed! Keep up the good work!

  13. hey there! are you a patient with dr moran...im thinking i saw you at the last support group meeting....=)

    Common Problem Foods

I can not stomach spicy food at all!!! I can't do the membranes of fruit and some breads. Though for the most part I can eat pretty much anything just in small portions. I can drink when I eat though if I do I end up not being able to eat much but if I do I really just sip my liquid. (strange concept considering I would dirnk 2-3 glasses at any meal) oh and I do notice that my band is tighter in the morning as well.
