any advice for my first fill?

i was banded on june 18th. i have an appointment for my first fill this saturday, july 18th. i am a little nervous and looking for any advice on my first fill. where i am at: i've lost weight but it's been really hard. i've had zero restriction. the reading material i got post op said i would be able to eat about 4 oz at a time. i can easily eat 8 oz at a time. i have yet to fill full, ever. i am really strict on myself because i want to be successful but could really use some help from my band. thanks for reading my blog and i look forward to any advice. teresa

    Having a Really Bad Day

i have no advice to give. i was banded two days after you, the 18th of june. i've lost 21 lbs. i feel the same way though. i can eat a full cup of food and not feel full. i don't feel hungry but i have yet to fill full. i go for my first fill on the 18th and am determined to have the doctor fill that flippin band! thank you for your blog. it feels good to read about someone in a similar situation. good luck!
  6. thank you for your reply. it's so early no one has noticed yet. i have told a few friends but a little nervous about comments. after i had the band for a couple of a days i had to tell a co worker because i couldn't left or bend etc. she proceed to tell me that she heard the gastric was so much better. it had quicker results and was long term a better choice and didn't know why i would chose the band. i guess saying she was a friend may have been on overstatement. :) thanks again and good luck!

  7. Everybody in my office knows about it, in other offices only a few know about it but if they ask I'm honest and tell them. Everybody I've told has been really supportive and never negative. Good luck to ya!!! Hope you love your band as much as I do.

    5 months post op

i have only had my band for two weeks. don't quite love it yet but i am getting there. i am curious whether or not you chose to tell you coworkers. i've told a few people but not sure i want to share my business with everyone. curious.
