my first op was abandoned because my liver was too big ineeded to lose 32 pound before i could go back on the list . ive lost 42lb so the dox r pleased

hi nel , the hospital emailed me on mon to let me know im back on the list . could be the end of aug !! hooray!! im still on the slimfast , hungry but as me mum always used to say , nothing tastes as good as thin feels!! it would be nice to lose some before xmas for all the parties . peter your pommy mate.

hi nel ive now lost the 32 pound id put on and i feel great . im going to phone the hospital and they should give me another date . ive done the slimfast diet for 2 weeks as i seemed to plateau ; 13 pounds lost . im going to keep it up as im in the zone !!!!!!!!!!! those beers are going to taste nice tonight!! hope your doin well. peter

hi nel ! im ok when i had my op my liver was too big so my band was not fitted . i need to lose 32 pound before they will try again . ive lost 19lb so far in a month and feel better already . the hospital said they will put me back on the list! when i was seen post op in dec i managed to put on the 32lb in 5 months!!! my wife has been good for my diet as she is controling my food intake! she said i can have a few beers once ive lost the 32 before my reop and pre diet . carrot and stick ! i cant weight as im looking forward to it . hope yours goes well , let me know. peter

hi everybody, iam starting my pre op diet mon 10th may .1 week before op. so iam saying goodbye to all the foods that made me fat!! the diet is 2 pints of semi skim milk and two 100g yogurts a day . this is from the hospital band nurse . i can use the milk for slimfast shakes ,the chocolate one is not too bad!! was your diet similar to mine ? ive also been told of the wind pain after the op which iam not looking forward to. iam looking forward to losing weight though!!!!!!

hello everyone , ive finally got my date for surgery !! may 17th . waiting to hear from hospital about the pre surgery diet . only 1 week of proper food ... feel like im on death row about to choose my last meal !!! i think a nice barbecue with a few beers as we have got lovely weather here in england at the moment....:smile::thumbup::drool:

hi, ive been visiting the site for about 6 months waiting for a date for banding. the photos of weight loss are amazing !!! iam a forty year old man with cardiomyopathy which was diagnosed 6 years ago , i was about 16 stone and told i needed to shift a few pounds. tried every diet known to man ! it seems like ive always been on a diet! i now weigh 26 stone , its amazing how it creeps up on you! anyway i have been refered to my local hospital for banding and have been told i can have it . i had the usual interigation as to my eating and drinking habits, did i eat crisps drink beer eat sweets etc i was starting to feel about 12 years old the way they were goin on! just waiting for a date now to get my life back so i can take my 5 year old daughter out more and to ride my aptly named fatboy......
