okay I don't get this. I can try to eat something and knwo if it doesn't go down to spit it out?? but it is already down my esophagus right? so how can i spit it out? As for chewing, that is kind of freaking me out..how small are the pieces supposed to be?

I downloaded someones inamed info packet. Is that a brand name of a band? Also sorry to bug you about my stuff, but I guess date is fast approaching and I am well GULp, you know. Someone told me I would never be able to eat stuff like shrimp etc, cuz it doesn't break down..is that true?

um when you ask someone what badn do they have, does that mean that there are different bands? Does anyone know what is used at TBLC? 8 days on cotage cheese /yogurt and still being good

wow whata thread.! I did a private thign cloe by the way, but mancan i relate to this, yes also three kidsbut not the marriage ontact. I ate after he and kids went tobed. I eat when i am happy sad, etc and yes are you ever right abut therapists and their own private lives, many have their own agenda and after delivering babies for 12 years I worked in psychiatry and i also counciland care so much for others and would give the shirt off my back, but for some reason do not look after me. As for thr liking being fat thing,,well NOPE, but maybe, I mean I dont feel like a small waif who can be attacked etc and I know people who like me for me, and not how I look..is that wierd of what? I have also done the self help boks in my thirties and interviewed many of their rich authors...... so some , I dunno NO, but soem are good and surprisingly the ones with excersises liek hrville hendrix or even dare I say dr phils are pretty good and asks the person that is reading it , not to just read it passiveley but to do the work and have gain some insight. I don't know how long I can do this for, honeslty and I admitted in an earlier thread that i already know i need an exit just in case...as for OA weight watchers etc.. well Oa they don't listen, I went and they follow a doctrine to the law. WEight watchers etc...well this is an addiction and diet isn;t going to help. anyway just my two cents worth. cloe you wil get though this hump.. ialso mess up when i ghave reached a goal wierd huh, like a celebration that doesn't end after one night...........

Confession No , no chicken breast yet but I can just feel the out of control thing happening......I could eat EVERYTHING in sight right now. Actually I am going to eat before the surgery. I told the pre op co-ordinator that I had already committted to doing a bbq/b day dinner for my son and mother on august 7th and how could I make all of this frigging food and not eat any? I am living for that day. Then I have three days to go to surgery...august 10th. I would have to postpone the surgery to another date if she said no, but I am not goign to lie, so as much as you guys support me I am far from doing great, I LIVE for the 7th rreight now and honestly I know I will have to have popcorn /cake etc when everyone leaves cuz what I eat in front of people is nothing compared to my own little world. I actually got out a video and started to film this..yup I lifted my shite, held my gut and cried etc......I will get through this, perhaps at a snails pace, but I knwo I am addicted and I stil want to eat ......but with help from YOU and fills etc, i hope to ONE day get a hold of this and feel full.

well the photos are video and man it doesn't lie and Ijust sobbed. I wish I had done this years ago.....I mean I have lost my youth etc,, reltaionships and yes, even a job I am sure ,because of my weight. I ffeel so weak that i am addicted to food. I mean my family are samler, my mother wil gain 5 lbs and promptly lose it til she gets back to her 135 again. yeesh. they try to tel me about sdiet etc...but I don't think like they do. I just can't see an amount of food and then leave it alone if it is left. I don't feel satiated when they do... I always wondered what was wrong with me. I do feel weak that i am goign to have a BAD day before the surgery. Does this mean that I am already failing and that i am throwing 16,000 down the drain? anyway I am feeling down and am going to bed, tomorrow another day and I hope this frigging scale says something good. You can't drink Water, or much of it after a fill? i thought you could at least drink... I mean in thsi weather U have to!!! okay I am back with a definite break inmy finger ,,,my up yours finger and have the splint etc for 4-6 weeks! So it's going to be going into the operating room with me.,,so my doc might think I am saying up his to the prices of the surgery.

um I LOVE POPCORN, and I want some post band after the weeks of nothign sort of!

Mandi,I spilled diet koolaid on the carpet and when i rubbed it briskly to get it out, Iheard my finger snap and voila! I have ice on it now and just hanging in til car is ready.

well i dunno what happened to yoda but wil try to catchup. i ill not be writing so much in the next little bit I htink cuz I just broke my finger .lol my third on my right hand...so my car is in the shop right now and I have to wait til I can get it until I go to hospital, but it is bent like a pretzel and I heard it snap.so i'll be here just not as mouthy!

Buffie and everyone..okay stupid question. I think what frightens me is the choking thing...so right after surgery and after you do the weeks of clear, full and purreed diet, do you have to chew so much that is is mush before it can get in??? I fear having to eat andthen swallow and it is too big what i swallowed. How soon after surgery does one have a fill? Thanks God I couldn't sleep last night, found him all night on computer at 5 am and that peed me off so here I am sleepless in Ontario oops and I htink I read somewhere..when u ghave a fill are you supposed to be on just fluids for a day or so aftrewards and how soon can you eat and when is the last time you are to eat before going to have a fill?

Buffie, hey you have lost over40 pounds since June,,,,c'mon, that is great , so dont' say you are pathetic. We all gained weight, isn't that why we're here. You are workign out diligently which from what i read, not all:scared: of us are doing, so you must be commended on it and be proud of your self. You are doing great!

JUde You have still have done amazing and I am jealous. You will be wearing size 18 this fall!!!! Listen I had forgotten what you had told us earlier about the PCo thng and I stil don't undersatnd how it works but I know it makes it slower so more KUDOS to you. It must be terribly frustrating at times. But you are doing it, we love you and are all rooting for you.

great shopping yaoda, HEY maybe that can be our canadian challenge...we meet our gols and then meet up every six months or so and save gas and go shoppping and do a canucks girls lap band trip to buffalo!!! I'm game and I don't even know you guys!!! Okay yes cloe, 108 yogurts, lol and Irishmist wow 19 pounds down presurgery. Congrats I pray I can do the same. Yoda size 20 or 18 I am impressed I would be thrilled to get there. That is great news CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

hi nathonys mom....wow great xray there of homer!!!! okay firstly I would kill to be your weight now...so goood on that and Yes ,hunger with being on just fluids. a lttile easier day five for me. What diet are you on pre-op down there? Here I am doing cottage cheese and yogurt and it sounds liek you aren't on your that long but probably cuz you are smaller. I am on it 2 weeks preop.

hey buffie, you dynamo who excersizes like crazy! ( and I want to be you when I grow up ,or grow smaller:scared: ) when you ate normally before your first fill, did you have to eat and swallow smaller amounts? did you then drink 30 mions before and an hour after? were you doing all of that?
