I have been obese for about ten years.  Everyone says this does not happen overnight, but it sure feels like it did.  I went from 135 to 200 in 4 months.  Wow!!!!  I worked really hard to lose twenty pounds.  I gained back 40.  I'm sure everyone knows this story.  I met the man of my dreams and got married.  I lost about ten pounds, I got pregnant.  I gained 70.  I lost nothing when the baby was born.  Yes, it goes on!!!  I got diagnosed with pcos.  I go on metformin and on and off pregesterone to have menses.  I lose 25 pounds.  I get pregnant again.  I have gestational diabetes my precious baby is born 6weeks early and has to stay in tha hopsital.  Skip ahead I'm down 54 pounds.  Three months later it is back.  Back on the metformin and progesterone.  I geuss I'm meant to be this way.  In 2007 I'm pregnant again.  No diabetes this time.  Sweet big baby born 4 weeks early at 7 pounds 1 ounce.  God has truly blessed me with a wonderful husband and amazing children.  I want to be the best wife and mother I can be.  I've sought out a surgeon I was going to do the bypass.  I felt terrified and so reseached the band.  Now I feel excited, peaceful, and confident.  I pray this works out.
