Bre's Biggest Fan and everyone else - THANK YOU for this post. I called my Dr's office immediately after seeing this and yes confirmed I am good to go now. I was on month 4 of seeing nutritionist and dr (was doing the visits at my doc's office) and when i go in this week for my monthly visit - we will be scheduling a date! Thanks to this list!!! I am doing my surgery sometime in October - I am currently doing my 6 months for BCBS NY which completes on Sep 6. BUT I am going to double check w/ office to make sure that they didn't reduce to 3 months too that would be GREAT!!!

Hi Steve - I am having the surgery w/ Dr Ren. I am doing the obligatory 6 months. I am even TRYING to lose weight and not managing it. I am hoping to have the surgery in october. I did the psych eval - they seem to be looking to ensure you a) really want this :tongue2: have not agenda's in doing the surgery c) they were looking for eating disorders like bulimia d) asked about binging e) asked how much the weight interferes w/ all aspects of life. I can't wait - i feel like my life is on hold at this point.
