I have work, so I am unable to read you entire post but I got the gist and you are right, that is haw doctor cywes is. But I have been going to him every month since my surgery on march 26 2007 and I'll tell you he is always trying to find a way to most effeciantly help each individual and untill you start meeting with him frequently one on one, you probably wont be able to see this. He does come off as quite the jerk sometimes but he isn't. He trully is a good doctor. He makes a lot of statements based on sterio types but give him a chance, he does have a LOT of patients and for a lot of them, these things are the way they live their lifes. I've lost 123pds since my surgery and I owe a lot of credet to cywes because yes, i did the work, but i couldn't have done it without him. you just have to be tolerant and patient. hear what he says and take what you can from him. he's a good doctor, i recomend him. -Stacia Brownlee -

My name is Stacia Brownlee and Dr. Cywes is my doctor. He did my surgery on March 26 2007 and I have lost 123pds since. He is a good doctor and will be very forward with you as needed. I've been seeing him ever since my surgery; once a month. I've formed a close bond with him and I know I'm not the only patient. He is a doctor who knows what he is doing and always has your best intirest in mind. He WILL find a way to motivate you when you are unmotivated. He works. -
Awe, you'r a sweet heart. Thank you so much for the compliments and I hope you succeed in your goals. Most important, make sure you form a habbit in excersize. This will help with excess skin when you reach your goal. The dresses =] I got the one in the picture with my sister from wet seal and the other one from artwalk from jc pennys.

3 months post op. I have only 1 chin now...48 pounds down.

congrats, it will keep coming off pretty fast in the beganing as long as you follow your diet plan and make sure to excersize because i will tell you, creating a habit in excersize was the main thing i struggled with that held me back from loosing the weight sooner and i also have a lot more work to do now in order to tighten my skin back up. Keep up the good work! =]] -
Well, I have been banded for about two and half years now... since march 26, 2007. And I've lost about 123pds so far. Thank you for all the support it feels pretty great. =] And what a compliment that I can inspire some one. Thank you -stacia

Thank you both. Yes it was a big decission to make at such a young age and really a hard battle. It takes a lot of determination and several times I lapsed back into old habits. I also formed a few unhealthy ones along the way... but everything seems to be going steady now and I truly am glad to have had it at the age I did so that now I can enjoy the rest of my young years. Thank you both for the support.
