    Holly geez! I have such thin hair already.. I mean really thin; and do a lot to cover that up now! I guess a wig for a while might be fun! Who knows.. maybe my husband might like it too!

    I too, was banded on Friday 7/24. I feel much better today.. but also started my period yesterday. My port site is still sore, and I have the gas pain in my shoulder that I read about. I am on liquids until Friday, then to mushies... can't wait. Anyone having problems going # 2? I

    Sorry it took me so long to respond... didn't know I had a message! Aren't you so excited/nervous? I am getting it done in Orange County and don't feel 100% confident in my Doctor. I have been reading the threads and feel better and that I am making the right choice. I am self pay.. so if I am going to spend hte $$ I sure hope I do this right! Good luck!

    Hi Everyone! I am getting banded on 7/24/09 and wanted to see if anyone had any good Soup recipes for the liquid phase and beyond? I have to be on a liquid diet for 1 week, then on to mushies. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for Protein Shakes. I have been told about the Carnation Instant and the Slim Fast... any other suggestions that do not contain whey? Thanks!
