ive basically lost the ten ive gained. Just saving up to get my first fill. Trying not to over eat lol. Im sorry to hear about your hair...good thing is it come back

It went well...thanks. Just got back from Vegas. Total lost was 30 but ive gained about 10 back lol. I'm going to go get my first fill sometime soon. Really excited because ive been over eating

i was banded on 8/6 and am 26. So far i've lst 30 but gained 5 when i got onto solid food again lol. I'm not freaking though it's a process :thumbup: I love my band and it fits into my social life just as long as we don't go eat Italian :crying: Keep it up everyone. -

Hello, I was banded on Aug 6th and feel the same. Your band is not restrictive (no fill yet). Good job one only eating the amount you're suppose too. Over eating now can stetch the pouch and cause the band to slip. You will notice more when you have a fill. Right now we are in "bandster hell" We can only eat a little and with no restriction we are not full. Keep it up a few more weeks before your fill i assume :thumbup: -
I am three weeks post-op and cleared for chili. I would like to put some crackers in it.. would this be ok? I would ask my dr. but it's past business hours.

I'm doing great!!!! Down 25 pounds and back to work. I'm also going to Vegas in a few weeks for my birthday Next week soft foods. It not as bad as i thought it would be

You dont feel sick because you haven't had a fill. Once you do over eating will be a uncomfortable. -

i am new to being banded so i can't offer too much advise. I guess i'd say remember why u got the band as motivation to NOT over eat. You may have stretch out your pouch (new stomach). I agree, call you surgeon and tell him everything. You're doing great by taking the first step! you've changed your bad eating habits! that will help. How is your exercise? -

DON"T worry i was banded 8/6 and still have some pain there but it gets better i saw my Dr. 2 days ago for my post-op and he confirmed it's port pain. Some (my) surgeon sew or tack it into your stomach muscle/tissue.... this is the best way to attach the port, vs. using a mesh. A mesh is more likely to get infected from what i understand. You use your ur stomach everyday to sit, stand, roll over ect. so it will take time to heal. Dont worry we've pretty much all been there. -

Hang in there sweetie ur doing great and right where u are suppose to be. Hell you've lost a good amount of weight so far..Why haven't u seen ur friend? i still go out with my buds. My Dr. says i can do anything as far as exercise goes but no lifting over 20 pounds. -
