I just bought the Montel Williams food emulsifier any one else? You can cream and make vegetable soups that come out hot right from the blender. I thought this would be good to use post op for full liquid and mushy stages. And later to get more vegetables in. Should we not make fruit smoothies I keep hearing no homemade smoothies.

Hi Just a little geography lesson Conroe is north of Houston I actually live in Willis a little further north. I use to live in Austin 20 years ago. My son lives in New Braunfels. Well I am so glad I found this group it is nice to talk to those who are going through some of the same feelings as I. Can't wait for the first year to go by and see what kind of results we can achieve. The first time I started this journey early 2008 I chickened out but this time I am going at it full force.

Hey you Well I start my pre op diet on Monday excited and scared but marching forward. By the way are you sure they cancelled all the meetings in Conroe they are still posted on the web on Dr. Colliers page.

Hi November 16 is my date to be banded. Any one from the Conroe, Tx area? I had been waiting for ins approval for so long that I called to check and was told they had not received anything on me, so called Doc and started all over. This gave me to much time to think about it, now I am back in panic mode! I am still looking forward to the weight loss. -
Thanks so much for your replies. I have been very panicky about this every time I eat something. I obsess on the fact that I may never eat this again and I hate it. And yes the latest was at Olive Garden soup and salad and yes bread, lol Thanks for you encouraging words hope all is well for you all.

So far everyone is scared of the surgery but is anyone scared of the fact that you will be giving up certain foods forever. This is my pre-op fear am I being dumb or just that addicted to food.
