5 months post op - still losing lots of hair

Hi! I was also told to hit a goal of 75 grams of protein a day. I am having my surgery on July 29th and I have tried a variety of shakes. The nutritionist told me without this amount of protein, hair loss will occur. -

HI Everyone, I got my surgery date-----JULY 29th. Yah! My doctor didnt' metion anything about a liquid diet before surgery and it's making me nervous, since so many of you have been put on it. I go in for pre-op testing on 7/21 and an appt with my doctor on July 23rd! I am ready and going to follow every suggestion that the doctor tells me. I am ready to have energy and feel good about myself. -
A long process is coming to an end. I just received my approval letter on Friday, July 3rd. :thumbup:I am going to call my doctor for a sugery date. I am so excited but nervous. I want to make sure I have a lot of support after being banded. I have to find a group in my area. :confused3:

I just received my approval and will call tomorrow for my surgery date. I am HOPING and PRAYING for an August date, since I am a teacher and am off that month. Good luck!!!!
