it is normal to be nervous, or scared as heck !! but think about it this way...you have been blessed with this gift you are getting ready to receive so take it with an open mind and think of how good you are going to feel, and look. I have been banded for 3 months now and I feel so good already, and I think to myself how much better I am going to feel in 3 more months. I wont lie it is an mentional rollercoaster at first, you are breaking a habit of eating that you have had for years and years, but you know what it is so worth it !! get ahold of your health before your health gets ahold of you.....ENJOY, I am here to chat anytime. it is tender around the port site, if i twist... ouch, if i bend over.. ouch, if I work out to hard...ouch, if I touch it with my waist band...ouch, it is almost like for example if I were to do 50 sit ups and the next morning the soreness...BINGO, it is so annoying I have resorted to 2 advil every 6 hours, i hope it gets better soon, this is for the birds !!!!

Hello Fello Banders, this is my first Blog and I am excited to be here. I was banded Dec. 31, 2009 so I am on day #82, I have lost 36 lbs to date and the difference is amazing already! I am desperatly seeking anyone with port soreness that can chat or answer any questions I have about mine ? Hope to chat with someone soon.

Hello Fello Banders, this is my first Blog and I am excited to be here. I was banded Dec. 31, 2009 so I am on day #82, I have lost 36 lbs to date and the difference is amazing already!
