This information is very helpful and encourging. Congrats on your weightloss. Did it take long before you had a surgery date? I attended the seminar and just need to complete the paperwork and send it in for a response. I'm holding myself back because surgery makes me nervous and this is just a difficult decison to make. I want to come back home to my 2yr old.
Do you feel any port pain or can you even feel it inside your tummy?
You mentioned something about drinking? what happens if you don't wait till a 1/2 later?

Anyone banded with Dr. Jones at BIDMC? I have gone to the informational sessions at BWH and BIMDC for some reason I'm drawn to BIMDC. I'm just starting the process so, would like to anyone if someone can share their experience? I'm also considering having another baby and was wondering if anyone went through this process while banded. Thanks for sharing

I'm just starting the process but would like as much info as possible. You mentioned losing about 45 pounds and not feeling deprived. What are some of the negative things you have encountered through the weightloss process. Do have any symptoms from the band? Thanks,

Hi,
I'm intersted in being banded by Dr. Jones at BIDMC. I would like to have second child after the band. Do you have any information you would like to share on the postives and negatives of the band?

Can anyone offer information on pregnancy after the lap band. I'm new to this and just started researching. The surgeon of choice so far is Dr. Jones at BIDMC. Any information is helpful.
