dr. wizman was nice but quoted me 15,000....5,000 more than strax... o was self pay....did research on dr choi and background checks......all cleared so i went for it. he also said he knows dr wizman and larson(who is a cocky a^^hole) and said he's been doing it longer and more patients worked on. sold me... -
i was banded on august 2nd and still sore. i did have some crackers and mashed potatoes after 5 days---woops.....but 95% sticking to liquids!!!

I WAS BANDED BY DR. CHOI ON AUGUST 2ND. THIS IS DAY 6 OF POST OP.......OK I LLLLLLLLLLOVE DR. CHOI BUT I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM SINCE THE MORNING OF SURGERY. THAT UPSETS ME BUT I'M ALIVE AND WELL AND GO BACK THIS WEEK FOR CHECK UP. I HAVE HAD A FEW CRACKERS AND MASHED POTATOES BUT EVERYTHING ELSE-----LIQUID.....I AM DYING FOR PIZZA AND CHINESE FOOD BUT I THINK IT'S MORE MENTAL THAN ANYTHING!!!! -
I WAS BANDED ON AUGUST 2ND. I AM 6 DAYS POST OP AND FEELING HUNGRY. I ALREADY HAD LIKE 3 TABLESPOONS OF MASHED POTATOES AND SOME CRACKERS.......THE ONLY ACHE I HAVE IS IN MY NECK. IT FEELS STIFF! LIKE CHALK ON BOARD! I'M ALSO SORE WHEN U BREATH. IT'S BEEN 6 DAYS AND I THINK IT'S MENTAL THAT IM HUNGRY...WHY DO THEY HAVE YOU ON LIQUIDS SOOOOOOOOO LONG????

i'm getting mine monday and i'm on all liquid??? i wonder why i cant have high protein stuff like bread.... and sandwiches??? god what i would do for some real food!!!

:thumbup:hello everyone! i just got back from strax and met dr choi...he was very nice and the staff was awesome. i even asked for a tour and they said absolutley!!! i am a heart patient so i'm very nervous that it's not in a hospital! but after reading this page i am soooo ready!!!! making it for middle of august!!!! please, everyone-----keep writing about your weight loss after surgery from dr. choi!!! i want to know!!!:thumbup:
