Morning Friends! Ouch Mo, that SUCKS!! My mom hurt hers before too, that's NOT FUN! I hope everyone is planning a fun weekend, I am NOT BBQ or going to ANY PARTIES! I am going to watch the fireworks in Benicia like I do every year, and that's it. I am down to 220 flat today, so I lost .3 more this week. Better then nothing! Brings me to a loss of 65 lbs exactly since last year when I started looking into the band and loosing weight :tt1:

Feels so good to be home!!! I am so glad its cooling down out here, I was not loving the summer weather at all! Heading to the park with my daughter and her little friend, have a good evening friends

OMG can you imagine having to pay that!? Thank god for insurance that's for sure! I am not worried about my band eroding. I just stay on the positive floatin on a cloud moto, otherwise I stress myself out with WHAT IFS. lol Going good today, still at 220.3 since I decided to snack my butt off last night Nicollie moves into her new house today, yay! :yikes: I can't wait to go up to WA and visit her!! Have a great hump day everyone!

Her band didn't erode, her stomach is just swollen, that's what I was told earlier. I am sure she will be just fine! Today was a decent day, but I had the munchies when a pregnant friend of mine came over to hang out. I jumped on the scale just now and it said 223.3...so up 2 lbs..figures! LOL Tina I am starting to think I DONT want another fill, I feel tight!!!!

Oh Riley you and your butter LOL! I am going to make frozen butter pops for you :ohmy: The first pork I had was with Verde sauce and it came right back up, and the 2nd was shredded pork at the baseball game I went to Friday night but it was in sauce...I guess my body just doesn't want it anymore. Lee glad you have an amazing trip, please post some pictures? Nicollie I miss you!!!! Down to 220.2 this am, my new way of eating is rocking, I had sugar free blueberry muffins for breakfast...left over pasta for lunch. Of to school I have a lecture this am, and X-rays this afternoon, have a great day friends!

Banded peeps: Does anyone else have problems eating PORK?? The past 2 times I have PB'ed it right up? Is it the consistency?

Pam - Pat is right, I have no issues prob because I have no restriction...I never eat un toasted bread or things like that. With my new way of eating I eat chicken, lean ground beef, fish, etc., but it's mixed with "good carbs". Today I ate two meals and have been full all day :scared2: I will watch don't worry! Cole - I recommend following Kaisers 1200 cal to the end, like most of us did. I am only trying the belly fat cure eating plan because I am having trouble sticking to the 1200 cal plan after surgery and am exploring different things.

Oh I agree Tina, I am fine with the slow results, my surgery was well worth it. And speaking of, I am sooo loving my new found way of eating, just now my scale said 220.8....almost 2 lbs lost since this AM! man when the book said expect to loose 4-9 lbs the first week I was skeptical for sure! It's so hot out here, going to sit by the ac and watch a movie!!

Meaning if I was standing at kaiser now and they asked me I'd do the band all over again. Glad your happy with your choice.

Okay well I am not really feeling the way your aproaching me on this convo I'm going to leave most of it alone. Nicole and I gave you our opinion as to what YOU should do, but I chose what was right for me, period. All that made me want the sleeve was the results of the lost. That's it. If I was stanging in Kaiser I wouldn't say sleeve.

The only reason I "wanted" the sleeve was because the results were amazing but when it came down I wouldn't do it, it wasn't the choice for me.

Cole - PB for me is when I don't chew enough, it gets stuck and I am in pain and must force the food back up. When I do, the pain is gone. I would not have sleeved. I didn't want to alter my body or stomach in any way. The band was right for me

Morning everyone! Pat ~ Yes there is a job training support, but now they are telling me I didn't attend a class I was suppose (which no one told me my last 2 phone interviews?) so of course I am willing to do the class now, etc. but its a fight with anything state these days. My lil one is doing great, she starts preschool this week for the first time!!! Her dad and I found a great Montessori in Martinez and she will start part time there, and come Sept for pre-k she will be there mon-thurs (I have fri off from school), and she will allow me to rack hours at school so when there are field trips, etc. I can go!!!! As for my fill I was sooo happy, but I have PB'd the most I ever have, and it's always on PORK?? Its so weird, yet everything else is fine. I am currently on day 2 of the "Belly Fat Cure" diet book I found at Costco, and I am down 1 lb already at 222. Its amazing the foods I have been eating on it (pancakes, toast, pasta!) and I am staying full while loosing. It's designed to help you learn how to eat and switch to the correct Carbs, such as my pasta's are whole wheat, my bread is too, and I eat full fat cheeses, and butter. The main goal is to have no more then 5 grams sugar I believe, and like 15 carb servings? I would have to re look but yeah, I am digging it I love your new pic btw, looking so good!! I miss you, hopefully I can come out there and walk soon!!!

Morning all down to 222.8 this morning and I am shocked about it, I went to the A's game last night...peanuts, hotdogs, (two PB's on some pork), lots of water and some nachos and I lost...LOL...i did go potty this am tho! Today I am starting the "Belly Fat Cure" eating plan. it's designed to loose 4-9 lbs a week replacing certain carbs with others. We shall see!!

Congrads Ash!! Down to 223.3 this am (yay finally) and lemme tell you, here is what I ate yesterday: Breakfast : Coffee Lunch : Handful of Cashews mixed with Cranberries Dinner : 4 oz roast, with mashed potatoes Maybe my body likes less food, yet some!

oh and btw I have been eating 1 butter croissant for breakfast every morning, this am i looked and they are 300 cal, 14 fat, and 37 carbs!! no wonder I am not loosing eating one everyday!!!!

Hi everyone almost the weekend!! Still sitting at 225 today (was 226 this am but it changed)...I am getting so frustrated, but I keep on trucking along!! I ate some roast for dinner and it almost got stuck...seems like any meat does....is that normal?

hey all sitting at 225.5 this am, so disappointed, thats up 4.5 since I saw Baggs....I have been eating good, so I see now I need to work out. Doing my Tony Little Gazelle tonight and will continue to eat well through out this week and weekend and come Monday if I am not back at 221 I will need to figure something out!
