  1. All I can say is I have had so much guacamole today it's not even funny LOL and a small frozen yogurt ;X tomorrow is my new day, and I WILL BE STARTING STAGE 3 OVER AGAIN!!!! Chunky soups pureed, water, and walking!!! LETS GO SAINTS!!!

  6. OMG thats too funny! I dont have a certain type, I usually read whatever someone gives me and tells me they liked it. One really good book I recently read was "Million little pieces" which is a true story about a young man who over comes the worse addictions, etc. It was so amazing.
  7. Thanks Lee! I got your PM also, thank you :thumbup: Anything good on TV? I don't have any good books right now, I ordered a new one last night on Amazon. I just have been reading my Bay Area Parent magazine and seeing what kinda fun stuff I can get the babe into this week!
  8. have fun everyone!! Lee, I am here if you are, staying home with the baby. Candra leave me alone LOL! I just tend to do things more local, my daughter is on a set sched., and is in bed by 830 every single night. I have had her on it for a while, so I ususally miss stuff :thumbup: its okay! If I came she would be all thrown off, plus shes still on Amoxacillin. I did decent today, had a coffee, but I walked the mall twice wth my friend and her daughter (Mine was with my mom). Breakfast: 1/2 cup "Broccoli/Potato/Cheese" soup pureed 1 tall skinny decaf latte Lunch: Mashed Potatoes from KFC (I was starving and couldn't make it home) Dinner: will be the remaining 1/2 cup of soup from breakfast.

    me not so well, I am having my monthly friend and its caused me to slip some fries and a coffee past the band ;( I am sooo disapointed with myself, only being banded 16 days and doing that already !!!!

  13. Okay soooo SOMEONE STOP ME!! This is SO HORRIBLE having TOM with a brand new lapband!!! Let me tell you what this friend has let me get down today: BREAKFAST: 1/2 cup mashed potatoes SNACK: Medium Sugar Free Decaf Vanilla Latte SNACK: 1 bite of a curly fry LUNCH: 1/2 cup mashed potatoes SNACK: I ate about 6-7 of Brianna's Wendy's fries!! DINNER: 1/2 stew meat mixed with the rest of the mashed potatoes and beef broth for dinner. Was alot of chewing involved, but got it down SNACK: a hand ful of soft potatoes I made for my ex. YES THIS IS JUST TODAY!!!!! I AM ADDICTED TO POTATOES!!!!! I did manage 68 oz of water so far tho. and yeah side note, BACK ON TRACK TOMORROW OMG WHAT AM I DOING TO MYSELF!! I think the MASHED POTATOES are the trigger here, because without them I was NOT doing this!!!!! so they are GONE. :thumbup:
  14. Be happy you have lost that much! I was banded 1.20.2010. My dr made me loose 35 lbs BEFORE they would band me. Since then, I have only lost 9.5 lbs with the band. It takes time, and lots of dedication. You will get there!
  15. Just stopping by Pat I won't be there tomorrow, I cant make the trip out to SAC at this time, it's just alittle to far. I tend to stick to group meetings and things close to home I hope you all have fun tho!
  16. I really hope they don't take away SSI to elderly, that's un excuseable, esp. when its the ONLY WAY my parents and lot's of others are surviving right now.
  17. Heather ~ Sorry about the boots but if you want cute knee high ones, www.torrid.com. Thats where I buy mine, and my calfs are HUGE. They carry wider shoes and boots.....check it out, you can get addicted and I promise they will fit no matter what.
  18. Morning everyone! I hate when the site goes down, I had to text Candra to finish my convo lol! So this morning I am up 3 lbs, says 240 on my scale. I am so mad! wtf? I guess its a combo maybe of me not drinking 64 oz of water a day, two hot dog chunks, a bowl of doritos cheese sucked off...and a bite of fry! I have a feeling I need to slow the mashed potatoes down for sure, because carbs like I said are not my friend. I am waiting for my Alhambra water to be delivered I am so thirsty and we are 100% out... I think my body likes when I DONT EAT, thats when I seem to loose...that or I just started getting alittle too happy once I realized my band isnt very restricting. I still want to be 230 by next Friday, but man I may be pushing it......sigh.
  19. Candra I am only on day 2 of pureed foods...I am living off mashd potatoes right now which make me nervous, I have a feeling the carbs will get me. As for my outfit, knee high boots, a small ass black skirt, and some shirt that is low cut on the boobs, and open in the back.........LOL

  23. LOL Cindy I have a pool here too (I guess it's a Concord thing). I seriously have lived in these condos over 4 years and have been in it under 5 times. Pat ~ I am in the same boat. I don't feel full off 1/2 cups 3 times a day and NOW on stage 3, I am MORE HUNGRY. its horrible.... So today is my TOM cheat day apparently because I decided to sit with a bowl of nacho cheese doritos, and sucked all the flavor off each chip...yes, i did. How horrible is that? I didn't get any walking in either. Sooooo tomorrow for me is a NEW DAY!!! 3 meals only, 1/2 cup and aiming for 20 mins of walking. wish me luck. I really want to be 230 by next Friday. I am going to Tahoe for a night Feb 27th, and I am worried about how and what I will eat!
  24. Hi all just stopping bye to say hello!! nibbled on food the first time today ;X this puree stage is NOT FUN. Breakfast - 1/2 cup mashed potatoes nibble one - 2 small slices of Babys hotdog...went down with no issue nibble two - tip off a french fry LOL thats it.....otherwise downing some water. not gonna nibble anymore, as i wanna be 230 by next friday. lunch will be 1/2 cup mashed potatoes again, which kinda sucks, carbs are NOT my friends, so I am wondering how this will effect me?
