I am going to see dr. billy on monday and i was wondering if anybody has used dr. billy and what they thought of him this is going to be my first fill. i was banded by dr kuri on 7/13/06 and have lost 16 pounds and lots of inches hurray!!!!! so any feed back would be wonderful! thanks, Lory

i was banded in mexico and he uses the INAMED band that the u.s. dr use at least my mexican dr. does.

right after i had my third child i had bleeding like that coming from my rear end they thought it might have been a tumor. and they wanted to look up there to see what it was but it was to painful. but they did figure out that it was a fissure. which is a tear in the rectal wall and takes a long time to heal because there is constant bacteria running through there but i would definitly go see a dr. for sure. you have to make sure its not something more serious. good luck and keep us posted.

I know the first couple of weeks is the worst. i am on my third week but my dr. has us eating soft foods on the fifteenth day. every dr. is different but I have never heard of 1 month of just clear liquids you need to get some protein in your body. I never drank these but I have heard of many other people drinking them they are called isopure I think you can get them at like GNC or another health food store like that im in southern cali and thats where we were told to get them. hope you feel better just try to remember that it will pay off trust me. your doing great!!!!! :eek:

i had that same feeling almost exactly like yours. it was really hard for me to get my liquid in. than it felt like i had gas and very painful at times but the feeling of fullness really bothered me too. after 8 days of dealing with this I called my dr. and he said for me to take pepcid or prilosec. at the time i was only taking gas-x because that is what I thought it was. so the gas-x did help but only for the time being and that feeling of fullness was still there. so anyways i started to take the pepcid and sure enough it took that feeling away like pressure you wouldnt believe it was horrible. but i dont know if thats your problem its something to consider i feel 100 times better. oh by the way it was acid indigestion so try that maybe it will help. good luck Lory

my name is lory and me and my daughter just got banded on the 13 of july. we are scared ,excited,happy,sad all those things and more. My doctors name is Dr. Kuri and i started at 212 and my daughter at 242 she is already down 5 pounds and iam 3pounds right on!!!!! thanks for listening. Lory

Me and my daughter just had surgery on july 13 and i am having thoughts of sadness or that maybe I made the wrong decision for her and I. I have been reading some of the post on this web site and I a little scared of all of the problems people are having . I thought that I had researched it better. but now i am freakin out. Is this normal to feel this way?:cry

thanks to all of you that replied to my post. it made me feel much better. i am feeling sooooo much better today my incisions feel better and i physically and emotionally feel better. you are all right positive positive positive. I also talked to my daughter and told her how i was feeling and she said to me " mom any adversity that i might have with the band would be much better than the life that i was living before the band." i also talked to a girlfriend of mine who is also banded and she said everything that i was feeling was normal and it will get better. so thanks again to all of you!!!!! thanks Lory
