I have not been able to keep much food down recently. For the last two weeks no matter what i eat or drink it comes back up. What can I do

I got banded last week and lost 20 lbs, but a difficult 20 lbs due to the liquid diet, it had me going crazy with my empty stomach aches I was experiencing at night. I have been craving sub way sandwhich, I hope someday I can have one lol

Its been a week since surgery & I feel great but the liquid diet was killing me it was driving me mad not because I was craving but because my empty stomach hurt all night and it prevented me from sleeping. By Wednesday I decided that my sanity and sleep was important so I started to drink fat free milk which calmed my stomach and help me sleep like a baby. Today I visited the doc in Covina and he told me I was coming along fine and that I could start the thick liquid diet, with puddung, ect. I really didnt like the doctor today he seemed a bit unprofessional because I had no clue what todays appointment was for, just that I was told to set one up. So He asked me who my Dr was and I said Dr Sal. His reply was, "Thats why Im no fan of Dr Sal He'll operate on you and not advice you on anything." Thats odd right? But I've enjoyed Tapioca, clam chowder, and yogurt today. Before i leave I am craving a subway cold cut sandwich, am I ever going to have a sandwich again?

Amy, though Dr Sal said he was going to give me his number I think he forgot due to the fact I was the last person he operated on, when I woke up everyone was gone but me lol, and the nurses wanted me to wake up quickly so they could go home. Anyways is there anyway you can share that nuber with me? if so email it at castillo_ken@yahoo.com

I had a few questions maybe someone can help me out with? 1. Since Thursday (Aug. 27) I've lost 15 lbs, is that normal is that ok? I mean loosing weight that quick cant be right. 2. What do I do when I experience massive hunger? Last night I was going mentally crazy because my stomach was full but my intestines where empty and crying out for food and the broth was not subdoing the hunger pains it was giving me. What can I do? 3. Should I take my bandages off to make sure the scar tissue is healing correctly or wait til thursday doc visit? Does anyone else have any advise?

Just got the procedure yesterday and I have to tell you Dr. Salimitari was excellent, I only meet him before the surgery but he made me feel comftable and asured me that I would be ok. Sometimes you just need someone thats just more than a doctor and he was that.

Good Luck tomorrow. I had my surgery done in Beverly Hills by Top Surgeons/Weight Loss Centers/1800getslim (whatever you want to call them) I had my surgery done on 6/18/09 (about 2 months ago) and I have only lost 18 so far. The picture of my face on my profile is just shot from a good angle... LOL. I still have 111lbs to go. I have been doing the dieting yo-yo thing for years.
This was my first surgery "ever"! I was really scared at first, but it was not bad at all. I had my surgery done on a Thursday and I was back to work on Monday (I was just moving slower than usual.. lol).
Let me know how it goes tomorrow, when your feeling up to it of course.

I get banded tomorrow in Hawaiian Gardens, so I was looking at your pictures and WOW. Seeing pictures like your the before and after gives me motivation, to see how you look now than when you started is amazing. I hope you get to your goal weight.
