I cant tell Ive been banded. Please read and help me.
newclub posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was banded two years ago. My first two fills went fine. I felt some restrictions after each fill for several months afterwards. If I over ate I would feel the overfull feeling at the top of my throat and have to belch some and sometimes some would come back up. When I reached the point that I could eat anthing I wanted without and limits I went in for my third fill. I did not notice anything different this time. I waited several months and went in for my fourth fill, still nothing different afterwards. My fill Dr has told me I can only get one more fill. Now when I eat my normal natural stomach gets full and I feel pressure pushing against my port from the inside. I eat as I did before the band. I do not have to chew extra, or anything. I had my fill Dr. check and she said there was no slippage. If it wasnt for the pressure on my port after I eat I cant even tell I had been banded. Do you or know of someone whom might be able to help me figure out what has happen to my band. -

I am going to have her do that. I never thought about trying that. I will keep you posted as to my findings. -
This is normal. As you slowly lose weight the fat around your band in your stomach also goes away to making the band less restrictive.

I am newly banded, it has been 3 weeks today. I am wondering if the amount of food I am consuming at one sitting is the correct amount. I can eat about 1 1/2 cups of food. I feel this is to much. I am affraid of streaching out my new stomach. Will the amount reduce after I get my first fill? If this amount is to much what do I do. I don't won't to walk around hungry all day. :help:

I have been in contact with the clinic, but still awaiting to get everything all worked out. I have the 4000 and am ready. I am very impationt and am getting tired of waiting. It has only been a week since I first filled out the questionaire. I also don't won't to have the procedure till 8-7-06. I have time. Bevy keep your panties on. This week will be the week to finalize everything. I also made a new chat buddy in here yesterday. His name is Marc, he is gay and lives in NYC. His sign in name is silentfades and his email address is silentfades@aol.com I like this site. It has answered alot of my questions. The main problem is that I can't seem to get back to a previous place I saw something I wont'ed to read.

Looking for Fill Doc in the Austin area
newclub replied to texasbluebonnet's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I guess from the amount of replys there isn't a fill Dr in Austin. I was looking too. -
I am going to use the Bajanor Obesity Center in TJ Mexico, the cost is $7950.00 including air fare and 5 star hotel cost. They pick you up and take you where ever you need to go. They also do a program where you can put down $4000.00 and make 6 monthly payments with an automatic draft of $466.00. I have heard nothing but good things about this clinic.

In what area of your profile do you need to edit. I can't seem to find the spot I need to stick the url stuff.

HELP Financing Suggestions/I'm about to give up
newclub replied to jjolive's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I am looking into the Bajanor Obesity Center in TJ Mexico they offer help with the financing. They require $4000.00 down and your payments are $466.00 a month for 6 months. They do an automatic draft from your checking account. I have read alot about that clinic and all of it has been great. -
First off HELLO ALL, I am new to you and looking forward to becoming part of this family. Along with getting to know you and hopefully making some new friends. I am thinking of going to the Bajanor Obesity Center in Mexico. I would like to ask some questions about the procedure in general at this locations: I have tried to figure out when you have the band done do you or don't you get filled while you are there? Will the clinic help me locate a Dr. in my area that will help with the follow up appointments and the additional fills when or if needed? Did you use the Docpay program they have? Now to general questions about the lap band process: Can I drive after the procedure? Do you feel the band inside you along whrer the port will be located? Do you get put under or is it local? Will I have limited activities afterwards? Such as: Don't lift anything over your head. Going up and down stairs. Getting in and out of a truck. Do you need pain medication?
