Qdoba does have meatless beans, they would have a lot of band friendly options, in my opinion and the prices are great! I am up for it!

Thank you for all of the support everyone! I really appreciate it! Have a wonderful day ladies!!!

Darcy---that sounds like a great idea. As long as my treadmill is working I am up for it!

Is the mexican restaurant chipotle or quadoba? Both are really good, but they are more of like a panera, where you pick up the food, and sit down, no waiters, not that I really care, just letting you all know. There is also a On the Border in Naperville on 59 which is an awesome Mexican restaurant so good!!!

I can go on the 25th!!!

Robinm---I read your post and felt a connection! I am beginning to look for wedding dresses too! I am getting married in Dec. 07! When are you getting married? I have been looking online but have not actually gone into a store yet. I was recently banded about two months ago, and am slowly losing weight. I am not sure what to do about getting a dress...? Any advice!!

Look Girls! My scale budged! I havent lost anything in quite some time, I really dont even want to think how long it has been. I also measured myself and I have lost 6 inches around my waist and I think it shows! Yay! I just wanted to share that with all of you! Mandy--I am glad to hear that you are safely home and recuperating! I have been thinking about you! Patty--I applaud your determination throughout all of this! I know that it will all work out for you! PBing update---me and my band have been "getting along" a lot better recently. I am learning the new sensations that are going on in my body, like when my band is full, but my stomach may not be. I am also learning exactly when to stop eating and I havent PBd in quite a few days now! I also recently got a handmedown treadmill from my parents and I am so excited to start using more! There were a few quirks with it that we needed to work out, like it speeding up out of nowhere!! EEk! Have a wonderful Sunday Ladies!! Go Bears!!!

Hello Everyone! How are you all doing? I am lucky enough to be off today since it is MLKJ day! Yay! I had a great weekend, but have been having difficulty eating! On Saturday, I Pbd up half of every meal. I reflect on what went wrong, get back on the "Horse" and push ahead. I think that I am still eating too big of bites. I chew chew chew pretty well, but I think the actual bites are too big. I am just worried that I am going to do some damage to my band from all of the pbing. Even with eating so little, I still havent lost any. I have been stuck at 255 for quite some time now!!! My parents gave me their old treadmill that they never use. My fiance and dad put it together for me here yesterday and I am excited to start using it! Yesterday, my sister, mother and a bridesmaid went to a bridal expo. at NIU. We had sooo much fun. There was a bridal fashion show and a few of the guys modeling were sort of acting like chip in dale dancers!!! Mandy---sorry that I was not able to make it, I am really hoping for next months!!! Cindy---um...I have my tree up still too! I am starting to get sick of it, but it is so pretty to look at. Yeah, it really is time, I know, I gues s I am just being lazy...:rolleyes Kat---it is soo funny that you mentioned that story with the shrimp. Um...I was with my ex for seven years who wound up being a very abusive person, and I was soooo tempted to leave a can of tuna hiding in his drapes!!!! yeah, but i didnt...

lala---I hope that everything goes well for you! It will totally all be worth it! You will be in my thoughts and prayers! Mandy---Count me in, however I already know that I am not available Feb. 4th (my bday) and Feb. 11th. Just to give you a heads up! Glad to hear that you all had a great time! I am really sorry that I could not make it! I have been having a rather difficult time eating lately anyways...
-
Patty---I am really sorry to hear about your situation. I definitely can understand from a variety of other experiences. It seems that a lot of times our world revolves around the paperwork and red tape. But you can do this, you have already come so far and have put so much effort into the process and it will eventually all be worth it. Hang in there!

I am reading about how much saline everyone got filled into their band and I am confused. I recently had my first fill, and the surgeon told me that he put in 4.5 ml, but everyone refers to their fills in c.c.'s? What is different about mine? He said that I have the small band, but I am not sure if that has anything to do with it? What does c.c. even stand for?

Hello Everyone! Sorry that I have not been on in awhile! I had all four of my impacted wisdom teeth pulled on December 29th, and I am just beginning to get over the pain from it. I wound up getting a dry socket, and the surgery really caused my TMJ to act up! In fact, I had to go to the oral surgeon right after my fill on last Friday. The fill did go just fine, even though I am not really feeling the affects of it, which I have heard is to be expected. My surgeon did the fill under fluro with the barium and all. He gave me a numbing shot on my tummy which just felt like any other shot. When he stuck the needle into my port it felt really really odd and gave me the heebyjeebys! I have a small band, and he told me that he put in 2.6 ml. I see that everyone usually notes their fills as C.C.? What is different? I notice that I am able to eat a bit less, but definitely more than the doctor said I would be able too. What is the advice for how long I wait for the next fill? Mandy-I am really sorry to hear about your foot issues! How did that happen? I am looking forward to meeting you in person on Saturday! I can who you my very first tattoo that I just got about two weeks ago!!

Hello All---Well, tomorrow is my first fill. I am actually more nervous about it than I thought I would be. I guess I am nervous b/c I dont know what it will be like after I am filled, how I"ll feel, what eating will be like and so on. any words of wisdom, advice? Any experiences you all care to share? I am wondering if the actual puncture of the port hurts a lot, is there nausea...just hearing about it, the good and bad will help ease my mind! Thank you all!

Here is a link to the bridal dress that I have fell in love with!
-
Here is a picture of the bridesmaid dress I am thinking about! Most of my bridesmaids are plus sized women so I have to find a dress that will compliment their frames! Actually it is kind of funny, a brown haired plus sized bride, matron of honor, two bridesmaids and a size 0 blonde maid of honor (who happends to be my best friend!) My sister and brother in law have made a wedding website for Joe and I where you can check them all out!! www.cassandra-joe.com

I love Johnny Cash!!! That is a great song to have stuck in your head! On the wedding plans, we are up to about 115 people! I have begun to look at wedding dresses online to get some ideas, but I havent actually tried any on! I'll have to send you all links to the dresses I am thinking of! My weightloss has been at a standstill as my counter shows, but at least I havent gained any through the holidays! I am so excited about getting my fill on Jan. 5th!!!
