I am with Shawn on this one. Kiss some butt, get the surgery and while your waiting for everything to come together. Start putting some money away somewhere for your get away. Why pay for it when Insurance will cover. I don't know about everyone else but $15-20,000 is alot of money where I come from. I would just as soon have that money to start a new life (including wardrobe) and let the insurance pay!

Oh duh on Me!!! Yes, I did shrimp and then I did some steak night be for last. I know I shouldn't have done the steak but I was so hungry. I don't want to blow this at all! But I think I am ok as far as my weight loss. I just win if I lose while I am on a roll or rolls as the case may be!:heh:

Do I have to add protein to the Bariatrix? Yes, I am so far kind of disappointed with the Remedy website. Maybe I just not familiar with it as much as this one. It took me a while to figure this one out. I was going to ask you a while back...Do you know if everyone who has had a hysto done has that lining removed like you? Gail

Thinking about you today Chris. Good Luck! I go in for my pre-op tests tomorrow. Still on the protein but I haven't lost anything for two days! This is what I do when someone asks me a rude question or something that is none of their business. I just turn to them and look them directly in the eyes and say "why do you ask?" And then I shut up and wait for their response. They are usually at a loss for words and very embarrased. Oh well, their bad! We sold our home one time and a "friend" asked me how much did you make on it? I just said, "why do you ask." She was so embarrased and stammered "oh I was just wondering." I didn't respond anymore to what she had said and the subject was dropped! We are still friends:)

Pam, if you mean my classes that was Tuesday. I have been doing the liquid thing since Sunday. I did well until supper time. Last night I ate a small plain hamburger with salad and tonight some crockpot chicken and salad. I have lost about 5 pounds now but it sure isn't easy hanging with the liquids! I am so glad you are going to be alright. I worry about adhesions too. I had a huge incision for gall bladder when I was about 38. They couldn't find it and had to do an exploratory. Anyway, I have in recent years had a lot of tugging and pulling pains in that area. Maybe I will find out now whether I have them or not. I also had a hysterectomy at 40.

If I could lose 20-25 lbs by then it would be OK by me! If I don't, I can live with that too because I believe eventually it will be coming off. No my son doesn't know unless his sisters said something to him. I doubt they did though. My daughters all know as well as a couple of my bros and seestas!

Hey Pam! You hang in there! Like they say, "tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life!" I have had my bad moments too! But I try to think about the future. On April 24, I and my husband and four daughters and one son-in-law will be flying to Del Rio, TX to attend graduation ceremonies for our son. He will be receiving his "silver wings" as a pilot with the U S Air Force. It is three days of formal and informal ceremonies. So I am hoping to lose enough weight so that I can shop for a really nice little wardrobe and will look very nice for the ocassion! He joined the Air Force at 19 (he is 30 now) and did everything the hard way on his own. He is now a 2nd Lt. We couldn't be prouder. Can you tell? Anyway, you will be in my prayers and we will all be soooo looking forward to hear how you are doing. Gail
