Interesting. I see most surgeons have different ways of preparing us for surgery. I read in one forum how a patient received a fill during the surgery...all of this insight is so interesting and enlightening...

I would definitely speak with him and remind him how your insurance (or are you self pay...anyway) put more money in his pocket. Review your contract of services and remind him of his committment of surgeon as well... You are doing fine and are well on your way!

Hi Iris here from south florida and I am excited...on 7/2 I will be banded. The process was lovely for me, in spite of what some said I was approved by my insurance provider and received my date three days later. Any information that you provide will be helpful. I think the most difficult thing for me is losing the weight pre op. For some reason, in the last year I gain without really over eating so I am grateful and determined to follow through with the wls. Thanks in advance for your support and advice Iris

July 2nd and I am excited. I cant even think fear! When it tries to get me, I think of the new journey in just a few weeks. I just hope the hospital stay isn't long. I have teenagers...
