July 2nd is my day..time tba. Support group meeting is 6/25 and Mandatory Education class is 6/29!

I havent been banded yet and I know every bariatric surgeon is different but I have a plan post op days 1-40 to follow if you would like the info let me know and I will post it. Also I do not think aspirin is good...its an NSAID maybe tylenol but you may want to call your surgeon or nurse. Hope your recovery goes well..you are on your way! Iris

Process of elimination...the surgeon and colleagues do not prefer Realize C so that says a mouthful. Good luck on your banding!

Mine is on the 2nd and I am taking off the 6th, because I am already off on the 3rd. I put in my time so I can have the weekend, etc.

Have faith in your husband coming around and it will happen. The first thing that happened when I went to the bariatric office for my consult was that the bariatric nurse explained how men in our lives will feel insecure for a number of reasons. #1 worry kicks in and many other things. I am not married yet but my ex boyfriend expressed anger about the surgery. I tried my best to keep him in the loop because the nurse said he would come around. And that he has. I am just taking time off now to do me. I have to make sure that this surgery is for me but I believe it will work out in the end. Once you start attending the meetings, consults, etc. your esteem will be greater and your husband who loves you will feel more confident. Just include him in the process and let him know "sweetie, I want you to know xyz and I know you are worried about me but your support is what I need most." :blushing: (get in his game room, you know what to tell him!) lol

God is real, I am not one to push my beliefs on anyone but through my life I have realized he is my rock and he has pulled me through many great obstacles...glory!:blushing:

Leg weights...that is a cool idea, lol. I think you will make the requirements, just hang in there.
