Thank you all for your reply, just got home from the doctor he was not concerned that the band has slipped he ssai when the band slipped water hurts to go down. Anyways he took out .5 cc i am not happy about it, but I needed some taken out as I havent held down food in a few weeks but i lost 14 pounds, We shall see what happens hope this was the fix, thank you all again for your help and best of luck and sucess to all of you

Okay so very weird, I had a fill the end of July, and the last few weeks the band has gotten tighter i think, right after my fill i was able to eat and now popsciles are comming up. I am going to call my doctor tomorrow and see if i can get a slight unfill as i think i am too tight, i had this before. I am a year out had my surgery in July 2009. My question is how would i know if my band has slipped? I have been voimiting alot the last two weeks and am so scared that my band has slipped, my throat hurts from the voimting, but wouldnt i have alot of issues, like heartburn reflux if the band was detacted, its been attached there for a year i dont see how two weeks to a week would make a difference. ANy help you could give would be great. Thank you

THank you Tish, I am really scared, was banded in July and have 4-5 fills since and that has never been an issue so i am freaking out. I still have a little restiction but now i kinda wish i didnt get the unfill at all. Oh well we shall see

my nurse was in there a long time, couldnt find port, doctor had to locate it, i am just scared she poked something else, like the tubing, how do you know if there is a leak, i got an untill of 1 cc as I couldnt hold down gatorade after my last fill

good morning all, I was wondering if anyone else is having pain at the post site, more when you touch it but still there a little even when not being touched? I was banded july 24th and off and on have pain at the site, wondering if something is wrong or if this is just how it is going to be. Any imput would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

yes it is your port, as you loose my weight it will stick out more. I am four months post op and it feels like a tumor sticking out of my tummy, it should be at your largest scar, it will build up scar tissue and be harder. Dont need to worry and do not push on it. When you get your first fill that is excally where your doctor will go to do it. It is round but mine feels a little square. also your doctor porbally made a pocket on the inside of your skin to keep the port in, so that is probally what your feeling too. you do need to watch to make sure your incisions are not leaking fluid or oozing, or you have a fever that is an infection so really watch that. wow that does make perfect sense, thank you for that insight, it is a little personal trainer and permanent head alarm, eat something bad and your so going to pay for it. I have been addicted to food for most of my adult life, its a social thing, meet with friends-eat, family holiday-eat, date night-eat. I dont care if i eat again, it made me the fat girl that I once was and will never be again, it has changed my life. I was banded 4 months ago and are finally getting it.

Today able to eat some solids, no more foam, Thank you all for your help, it was and is greatly appreciated. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

i hear you I had my 4th fill on monday was able to drink water and iced t yesterday and was only able to have chicken broth, yes you will loosen up and i am sure you have had a miserable day but you have to hold down at least liquids, if you can not you need to immediately call your doctor and get a little taken out. today i am fine was able to have refried beans. Please be careful, i know like you i so want to be at my sweet spot, but i dont want to get sick or end up in the hospital or have a problem with the band. Keep me posted and good luck

yes I am able to hold down clear liquids only and am able to pee, I have had alot of water, i was able to eat about 2 bites of mashed potatoes tonight and some chicken broth I am having alot of pain in my back and under my right breast, my aunt is a nurse and said that it sounds like gas, it hurts bad, if i still can eat anything solid by monday i am going to the doctor to get an unfill. I need help with the gas issue please

how many days after your last fill where you back to solids??
