I had surgery on wed August 12th, 2009 and I am doing great! I am down 16 lbs. and full of energy!

Hi crystal, this is how I've been getting on chat: First get into the main home page of the site, log off of that. Then click chat, when you get to the chat page, log on there, after you enter your name and password, click log in. When it says available next to your name, then just click into the chat room. That should work. Good luck.

Girl your Twins are beautiful! You are so beautiful too! That must be where they get there beauty from. Did you get your surgery done thru Camp Pendleton's Naval Hospital, Balboa Naval Hospital, or another base's hospital? What was the process for you to get in done through the military? How long did it take from start to finish? I am retired Army so military medical is an option for me. Does the same doctor handle your case and do your fills? I guess YOU R my first 'friend'! I need all the help I can muster. So far, I am very very happy with my REALIZE LAP BAND. Got it Mar 26, 09. I am losing to 'beat the band" too! I am one of those who is prone to cheating...therefore, I follow every single suggestion and rules there is to be successful. Lets be friends. !

Thank u very much! So far it's between him and Dr Takata but I am leaning towards Dr Bhoyrul. Can you tell me more about the mentor program... has that helped you? His office sounds great and so far the staff is wonderful. I have an appt on Tues and the Seminar Tues nite. I am so excited! I feel like this is answered prayer. I have been praying for God to strengthen my will power and to help me loose weight and over come my health issues. It kills me cause people are always saying to me just excersive n eat rite n ull just loose weight. That is hard when you can barely breath just bending over to tie ur shoes. Do u know what I mean? Well, probably not anymore... LOL I am so happy for you and thanks for adding me as a friend! God bless u & urs in all that u do!

I absolutely love Dr. Bhoyrul. I'm going to get his card today so I can give you his number. He works from Scrippes Memorial in La Jolla and he has a super nice office staff, as well. He has been doing lap band for a very long time, and he trained with a doctor that has been doing them since the beginning. He actually does both bariatric surgeries, but he is a strong proponent of the band. He is sweet, kind and encouraging and I am so lucky I have him as a surgeon. (Super handsome, too) He has a terrific bedside manner which isn't necessary but does not hurt. If you can think of some specific questions that you'd like answered about him,then go ahead and send me another message. I see him today and I'll get that card and message you when I get home tonight.
