    One week to go...

I have approx 5 days to go. I am scheduled for pre-ops on 7/6,& 7/7dietician and surgery on 7/8. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I've washed all my clothes and vacuum and cleaned the house and put fresh linen on all the beds. I suddenly have this burst of energy. I am trying to stop eating so much "Last Supper Sydrome", I eat whatever I feel like eating. I have gained 10lbs since my last Doctor's visit. I weigh 200lbs and looking forward to the big drop.

    Any July Bandsters out there?

I totally understand you. I am scheduled for the same day 7/8 and I am very excited, anxious and nervous. I weighed 196 and gained four pounds to be approved for surgery and was denied.. After a long hard battle, I was approved and now I am on my way..... We are surgery twins so we have to keep intouch with our progress...:blushing:
  4. I too get the same reaction, that's why I decided to tell no one but my mother I have developed diabeties as result of PCOS. I am 38 and 200 lbs with a BMI of 35. I am scheduled for surgery on 7/8/09 and I can't wait to start this new journey. Your thread was very inspiring..... Thanks.
  5. Finally someone who fits the my same story. I am 38 and scheduled to be banded on 7/8, 5'3 and currently 200lbs. How much weight did you lose during the 1st month? I have often viewed other thread but I haven't seen much from the under 200lbers. I have mixed emotions nervous, excited and anixious. What protein drinks do you suggest? Where did you reach your sweet spot (How many cc's) Did you have comodities? So many questions, but its good to talk to someone with the same beginning weight. Thanks in advance Den Mother.

  6. You go girl. Now that's what I'm talking about. You look FAB!!!!

  7. Wow you give me hope. I can't wait to get slim the waist and even cutier in the face. You look fAB!!!!! I like your tag "On Tour with the Band"!!!!

  8. Thanks for the Friend Request. I need all the help I can get during this time. Have you been banded yet? I am scheduled for 7/8, I have mixed feeling right now, nervous, anixious and excited all in one.

  9. Thanks for the FR, have you been banded yet? I am scheduled for 7/8, I have mixed emotions, happy, nervous and excited.....

  10. Now that's a BAD!!!!!! Girl....You need to start singing your theme song... "Back then they didn't want me, Now I'm Hot!!! they are all on me!!!!
  11. Thanks for the compliment but trust me it has been a BATTLE for years. I am currently 201 at 5'3, on the picture I weigh 196. I was going on vacation and so I went on a diet for that and I have on a Good Girdle, (Justing being Real). I have always been able to lose but I have always gained it back. I was recently diagnosed with diabeties (not good) and PCOS which causes you to gain weight. I am at my witts end. I went thru alot to get approved and now I have mixed emotions...anixous, excited and nervous. I will admit that I don't have as much to lose as others but I want to get healthy and that means losing weight. I have been on sooooooo many diets that I can't count. I am looking forward to a size 10. I am wearing 16/18's now...

  12. You seem to have mastered it and I wanted to hear it from somebody that was on top of their game. I too have dieted for years and finally after several failed attempts I saw the doctor and was diagnosed with PCOS which causes you to gain weight. Right now I am having to many episodes of "Last Suppers" I am eating everything that's not nailed down. Did you go thru that???

  13. Yes I am , and I wanted to know if there was a difference. I am scheduled for surgery 7/08. Did you have mixed emotions, like I do? I am anxious, fearful and excited. Did you have any other surgery prior to this one? I haven't so that's why I am a little fearful.

    Any July Bandsters out there?

I am scheduled for Pre-Ops on July6 &7, banding scheduled for July 8. The number 8 represents "New Beginining" and that's what I am looking forward too. I'm excited, anxious and a little fearful as well. I have mixed emotions and according to the threads that I've read that's a common feeling. I have never had a surgery of any kind. I am 38 single and no children, I'm just a little concerned but EXCITED!!!!!!!!
  21. Hi, I've also received those stares....I'm 201 and 5'3 with PCOS and newly diagnosed diabetic. I had to file an appeal because my diabeties was not in my chart. I had to go and see my endo and take a glucose test and she release a letter to the insurance company stating my new diabetic diagnosis. I hate that I was diagnosed but I am overjoyed that I was approved because of it. I am scheduled for pre-ops July 6/7 and I will be banded on July 8th.. 8 represents the number of "New Beginining" and that's what I am expecting.
  22. Wow you are someone to look up too..... Congrats!!!!

    July 2009 Dates

Hi I'm a newbie. I am scheduled to be banded on July 8th. I am excited, anxious and a little nervous. I guess that's to be expected. I am not scheduled to go on a liquid diet, when I inquire my Dr's Coordinator said that it was not necessary for me. My pre-ops are scheduled for July 6 & 7. I didn't know this at the time but July 8th is very significiant. July the 7th month represents--- the End of a thing (Perfection etc) 8 represents a "New Beginning". To all you July Bandsters 7 represents the old way of living. Now bring on the NEW!!!!
