I was just banded myself on Oct 14th. I have found the broth to be very filling. Heat up a cup of water & drop a bouillon cube in it & sip. Having a hard time trying not to sip too much. I assume it's like the water business, only 2 oz every 15 minutes. That means you have to reheat the broth or drink it cold. Anyone out there, is this what I should be doing? Takes forever to drink my protein drinks also. Going to the Dr. for my 2 week check-up on Thursday & will be really glad to be able to have more than this. The Sugar Free popsicles are wonderful also if you get hungry.
  5. Call the insurance company & ask them for the exact specifications they require for the surgery. I am awaiting approval from my insurance company today. With mine, I had to be 100 lbs over ideal weight which they told me they went by the "Metropolitian Life Weight Chart". I gained about 10 lbs. in the last 2 months, so I would qualify with my insurance company. Good luck!
