Anyone else have a defective port?

I don't know if it was a defective port, but I also had to get mine removed. my band slipped and was not able to eat for a couple of weeks. I was dehydrated and lost tons of weight. The Dr. Finally said that I had to get it removed. This happened back 11/4/10 and believe it or not. I will be getting it reinstalled 11/17/11 a year later.. it sucks becasue i lost tons of weight and back to where I first started : ( i try to eat well and excersice.. and nothing the weight still keeps on to creap up.. wish me luck and hopt this is the right decision that i am making .. AGAIN.... -
so, i got my lap band 7/31/09 and had to get it removed for having compliations. SNIFF SNIFF. now I am going to get it back on in november. i am hoping that it goes better for me this time around.

so how was work? how is the meal plan coming along? i wanted to ask you. do you feel the port? I feel something on my left side and sometimes it bothers me when i move a certain way. the Dr. says it is the port and it will go away eventually... hhhmmm 3 weeks and counting and it still bothers me.. hopefully it will go away soon. i go back to work on the 24th.. talk to you soon.

CONGRATULATIONS 11 POUNDS!!!! keep up the good work. I went to the Dr, this last Monday and the scale said 14 pounds. I sure hope that the pounds keep coming off that fast. I have my nephews wedding to attend in sept. and I would like to get a nice a sexy dress. Keep up the good work and let me know the mushy foods come along. I have to wait 2 more weeks to do mushy foods.. keep in touch..

Congratulations... I get my Band 7/30....so i will be looking out on allot that you have to say.. as for the vitamins. my nutritionist told me to get the Flinstone chewable and as for the Calcium + vitamin D i got the Osteo8 (purple bottle) they were b oth8.99 at walgreens -
I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY BROTHER AND HE IS TRYING TO CONVINCE ME NOT TO GET THE LAP BAND. TELLING ME THAT I CAN DO IT ON MY OWN.. HELLO.. LIKE I HAVEN'T TRIED TO LOOSE WEIGHT ALL MY LIFE.AT ONE POINT I WAS 50 LBS HEAVIER,AND I DID LOOSE THOSE POUNDS,BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO GET ON THE BALL AGAIN.... I HAVE BEEN A CHUNKY MUNKY FOR YEARS. IT IS FRUSTRATING TO ME WHEN MY FAMILY IS NOT ON MY SIDE. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE FAMILY OR FRIENDS THAT ARE LIKE THAT?

OK, so i had my first shake this morning.. blah!!! it was/is so sweet. it says to add 8-10oz of water... i added 16oz to make it taste a lil better for me,but I have to take them and i will. i also started walking more yesturday, so i am really hoping that i loose some weight before my surgery. i have a question. did you sr give you vitamins to take, so that you don't get stones?

Girl, as long as the DR. resubmits the req and the insurance sees that you are working towards better health. They will approve you in no time. keep your head up.

Hello and thank you.. I do have so many questions and i am nervous because.. i think "how is it going to be" but you know. i have visit many of pages on this site and every one seem very happy with the decision that they have made, so that reassures me that I am also doind the correct thing.
