Well I'm starting to feel a lot better :frown: pain is slowly easing from my port wounds. Still on the liquid stage my opt fast and broth. so looking forward to starting mushy food. I've lost 7kg since my operation and have found i have a lot of wind (burping) is that normal. MY back has become a lot sorer since the operation not sure if that's suppose to happen maybe its the way i've been sleeping since that has had to change after my op as well. Have my follow up with the doc next week hope everything goes fine maybe i might get a fill as well :crying: Just going to take it day by day.

hi sammy, my name is melissa im 31yrs old live and live victoria. I tried every diet there was and didn't lose anything and after 2 chn the weight piled on depressed hated shopping etc couldn't even run around with the kids. I made the decision to have lapband and after 18 months on the waiting list it finally happened i got banded on the 1/6/09 and since lost 7kg in 12 days already more cause your on the shakes and don't feel like eating it was the best decision i have ever made. yes there are risks but so does every operation and yes you are in pain after but if you keep up with the pain relief its all good. dont feel like your alone if you want to talk or have Q's email me on mel_sarahjack@hotmail.com All the best with your surgury. melissa
