I'm getting my lap band on June 10th (this Wednesday!). I'll keep you posted. I'm nervous and very glad to be getting this lap band. I've been looking at it for about 2 years. I was ready to get it last summer, but a family illness kept me from doing it at that time. I'm a teacher, so summers are my ideal time to get anything time-consuming done.
