SKYE....thinking of you today as you have your surgery!!! Good luck Girl!! I'm sure it'll all be fine!! It was great meeting you in the office yesterday! Hope you found your Hotel Ok! :mad: MARJON.....how's it going?? Still feeling a lot of restriction?? DREWS......so I went for my 2nd fill yesterday and he didn't take out the first fill to see how much was left! Maybe b/c he was in a hurry? The office was pretty backed up yesterday! BUT...the good news is I think I have GREAT Restriction now!!! I am still eating mushies, and for lunch I am currently eating some hot oatmeal...and I've only had about 4 bites and am feeling full!!! Wooo hooo!!!! Oh yeah....and Dr. Ks scales said I was down 11 pounds from my last visit!!! I thought it was only going to be like 3-4 b/c I feel like my scale hadn't budged in a long time, but I guess it had!!! :woot:

BMan...sorry to hear about the funk you're in ....hopefully the exercise helped perk you back up a bit?? Nikki - Definitely sounds like you need a fill!!! I just got my 2nd and am already feeling a difference, even though it's been less than 24 hrs! :mad: BK...you know there is a Yoga video out there for 'big people'?? you could definitely try that and see how you feel and if you like it!

Hey Gang.....I'm back w/my 2nd Fill!!! :mad: It has been a crazy 24 hrs traveling to CO and back to get my fill, but it was totally worth it!!! According to the Drs. scales...I was down 11 pounds from my last visit!! Although last time I thought their scale was about 4 pounds off, so even I take those 4 out, that's still 7 pounds down!!! WAAY More than I thought it was going to be! (I thought I was only down 3-4 pounds b/c my scale at home has been so stuck the past 2-3 weeks!). So that was happy news...AND....I got a fill!! I have felt full almost entirely since then! I'm still doing liquids/mushies for today, but definitely don't need as much to fill me up right now! I just hope this Lasts!!!! STEPH....glad to hear your weekend w/your family went so well!! Don't worry about the food, I'm sure you can get back on track!! Boo...Clothes makers make each size different just to mess w/our brains!! I tend to find the few brands I KNOW my size in and stick w/them!! I get discouraged too when I try another brand on and my regular size doesn't fit!! Hang in there! Before you know it those clothes will be way too big for you! I'm feeling a bit better, but still have a sore throat and ham having difficulty taking in big breaths (lots o phlem...yum!) LOL. So I still haven't gotten back on the elliptical...but I'm hoping that my cold is almost gone so this week sometime I'll be able to hop back on that metal beast! NAT...sorry to hear your mom is so critical!!I totally thought my mom would be when I told her I was having the surgery, but she's been amazingly supportive! But you'll show her and have the last laugh!! :woot: You ROCK! Ok, where is everyone else?? Guess they were all out partying hard for the long weekend......time to get back to work! Jenea, Can't speak for Dr. Johnell....I used Dr. Kirshenbaum in Aurora, and he was great! good luck on your journey though.....the surgery wasn't bad at all!!

Kathy, I just got my 2nd fill too and can definitely feel a difference and am Soo happy about that! :mad: Its still been less than 24 hrs and I've only done liquids/mushies, but that "Hunger" feeling is gone and I'm thrilled! I also found out that according to my Dr. I'm down 11 pounds since my last visit so YEAH ME!!!!! THAT made me feel good!! So now I'm hoping to see the scales move again since they had stopped the last 3 weeks......hopefully you will too! I agree...its good to get back to the 'bandster way'

NAT...wow! Sounds like you got yourself a keeper there!!! I hope you hold out til after FL just to drive him (and you) crazy! You know the longer you wait, the sweeter it will be! I'm still Sick :-( I'm miserable.....and of course not motivated to exercise, not motivated to eat right, really all I want to do is sleep!!! Fortunately though I'm heading out to CO tonight to get my 2nd fill tomorrow!! I can't WAIT to get that done!! I'll be home tomorrow night and as soon as I can get over this dang cold....I'll be right back on track!! I"m sick of the Ice/Snow that we have here and can't wait for Spring!!!

ibrahem...I feel your pain and frustration!!! I've been back into a lot of my bad eating habits this past week or so myself...mostly just b/c I can. I am going for my 2nd fill on monday and it can't come soon enough!! So I'm guessing you need a fill too. Just want you to know you're not alone....and hopefully we'll both get back on track w/our next fill!

VLYNN.....i am geting the munchies too lately. I take it to mean that I need another fill!! Luckily I've only got 2 more days til I get one!!

BMAN...wow!! Congrats on almost being at the 50# mark!!! You and NAT are doing Awesome!! I'm so jealous!!! I'm still suck in the same spot :-( But hopefully my fill on Monday will fix that!! I'm so pissed that I'm sick and don't have the energy to get into a routine w/my new elliptical! Its just sitting there, waiting for me.....but hopefully next week I'll be back up to par! I know how difficult my first vday was after I got separated....its been 4 yrs now since my divorce was final and its STILL not easy (haven't had a real BF on any of them!!) So hang in there....I know what you're going through! If you ever want to chat, just let me know. And remember...it will get better!! NAT....hope you dont catch cold from your 'friend'! Although if you do, I'm sure it'd at least have been worth it! LOL BK.....I'm sorry to hear about your custody struggles and you're feeling unsure about your lifes purpose! VLYNN...well, the other thing is that your kids know about your surgery. Mine don't know I had it done!!! I don't want my Ex (their dad) to know about it so I figured I needed to keep it a secret from them too so they wouldn't inadvertantly blurt it out to him. So for me, I've tried to keep things as "normal" as they were before, except I'm just not eating as much as I did before. My boys just think I'm on a regular 'diet'

867.....I stayed for a long weekend when I went back the first time b/c my sister is there, but this time I'm only going for one night b/c I can't afford the time off from work. However, if I need another fill soon after this one, I think I'm going to go to a local doc who has agreed to do my fills for $150.

I am going back for my 2nd fill...so right now its been 1x a month (once in Jan, once in Feb), but I'm hoping this fill will last longer and I won't have to go back for a few months.

KAYDOT...So....did you get a fill?? INquiring minds want to know! Sorry to hear your Vday was a bust....but hopefully hubby will make it up to you!! LV Would be a great anniversary vacation...go for it!! Annie...glad to see you changed your name AND that you got restriction on your 2nd fill!!! I can't wait to get mine on Monday! I'm snacking mindlessly again, so I KNOW I need one! BMAN...I agree...yesterday was not a good day to have too much time on your hands to think about being single! Maurdan....glad it worked!! VLynn.....I have 2 teenage boys, so no...I havent noticed ANY change in their eating habits! If anything its difficult for me to have dinner w/them b/c they wolf their food down in about 3 seconds flat and I'm stuck at the table trying to chew chew chew and wait in between bites! It makes it very difficult for me not to rush my meal. COUGHING....guys....i've got a cold and am coughing a lot! Is this bad?? Am I in danger of doing any damage to my band? I know puking is bad for the band, but just wondering if coughing is just as bad??? Advice needed! Thanks!

Kaydot...no you're definitely not alone in thinking that we all need an indulgence once in a while!! We have to feel like our new 'lifestyle' still allows for fun once in a while! Tonight, I had ice cream w/my kids....it was my "splurge" since I had no one to spend my Vday with (other than my kiddos). Steph....glad to hear you got some positive feedback on your house from your neice! I'm sure your weekend will go smoothly. BTW....I have been enjoying the tea you sent me today as I'm all iced in and am fighting a cold! Its great! Thanks again!

Maurdan....try waiting a few minutes in between each bite to let it start to go through....and take smaller bites :mad: Your meal should take about 1/2 hr to eat. Sounds like you have good restriction though...thats what I'm hoping for on monday!!

Shesha... my first fill didn't last most than 2 weeks :-( I think part of the problem is that I may have still had residual swelling from the surgery (I got my first fill at 4 weeks, not 6). I clearly still have a little restriction b/c I did have a PB episode on Superbowl sunday after trying to eat an egg roll, but not nearly what I should have. I'm hopeful that the 2nd fill will be much better!! Happy Valentines Day Everyone!!

OH! forgot to say...BMAN....we got the same ice storm last night! It is NASTY out there!!! NAT....Wooo hooo Hot MAMA!!!! CONGRATS on the weight loss!! You Rock!! I can't wait to see your pics!

Just checking in to let you know that even though I'm kinda feeling like crap and fighting a cold.....I Stepped on that new elliptical I got and managed to pump out 20 minutes on my first try!!!:faint: I clearly need to get my fat butt in shape....wasn't even sure I'd last until 15 min, but managed to squeak out 5 more than that! :clap2: Yeah me! So now I'm ready to DROP :notagree I am unfortunately out of my Nyquil and can't get to the store b/c of an ice storm we're having!! Oh well, I WILL get on the elliptical 2x more this week, even if I'm on my deathbed! Hope you're all having a good day!

DrewsLou.....ewww....I had a PB on superbowl sunday and OMG I thought I was gonna DIE!!! I can't imagine it happening on a regular basis! Machele, congrats on the band date!! Dr. K is great!!! I got my surgery on a Fri and he gave me his Cell # In case I needed to reach him over the weekend. SkyeBlu....You're getting your surgery next Monday!??? I'm getting my 2nd fill that day too!!! What time are you going in for surgery?? I'll be thinking about you!
