Maria, HI NEIGHBOR.....Kristy from Lodi here. "Fill" means to add saline to your band via the port that is left inside of you. When is your seminar? I went to one yesterday and met a surgeon who does not cover my insurance. I have Kaiser. Is that what you have? I just met Dr. Feng yesterday. He seems like a great surgeon. Unfortunately he does not take my insurance. BUMMER! But he did educate me on the 4 surgeries he does! -
So how close is the closest surgeon to me? I live in Lodi, CA.:wink:

Hi KristyMadrid, I saw your introduction in our Kaiser Richmond social group. this is a great site! We have an ongoing thread - search Kaiser Richmond Pre Op. all the girls on there have a wealth of info. I haven't been banded yet but there are girls at all different levels of the journey and they are always eager to help & answer questions!! hope to see you there!!!!!!

I have not set a date. I had been researching this and comparing it with the gastric bypass and the lapband won - hands down. I just don't know where to start. I am leadable. LOL

Hi! I saw your photos & see that you are about to be banded. When is your surgery date?!? I can promise you that this is the best decision you will ever make! I started out at 386 lbs....I had my surgery 7 months ago. Im now at 329 lbs....my weight is coming off alot more slowly than I wanted...but its coming off! Good luck with surgery & I look forward to seeing you skinny! =)
