Hello! I'm at day 6 and I'm still doing well. I hear this is common though, part of the most difficult time. Head over to the twenties board or the June journey's board, there is a ton of information there and the ladies are fabulous!!!

Start wearing Spanx again??? I wore them before surgery and I'm just wondering how soon you could put them over your incisions w/o harming your incisions?? Thanks!

Hey! Just saw a post of yours on the twenties board. We seem to be around the same weight and have the same goals! I just had my surg 3 days ago. My highest was also 285. Well I am 3 days post op and I have only told my closest family, closest friends, and 2 co-workers. Those 2 co-workers know to keep their mouths shut. I am a pretty open person 24/7 but my weight is one thing I'm private about. So I don't need bosses or hott guys knowing my weight issues or that I've had surgery. maybe after I've lost a lot of weight I will feel different, we'll see.

I heard through a friend that the staff didn't treat people very well. that's all. You must live close to me b/c that hospital is only like 10 miles from my house. haha! I had my done at Scottsdale Healthcare Hospital.

I know I can't believe it, now it's only a day. tomorrow is my last day at work and that makes it so real! I'm nervous and so excited for things to start happening. Mostly, I'm excited to date again! It's been awhile.

Ok so I'm having my surgery in 10 days. I've been thinking alot about what to do about lunch at work without letting ppl knwo my business and see me measuring stuff. So the idea of Soup just hit me! does anybody know a recipe of a soup that includes Protein, good fat, and veggies?? I picture making a huge pot, measuring out my 1 cup in the morning, and just heating up at work.

I do have a "plan" for exercise. However b/c I was in sports as a teen I think my goals are too aggressive. At the hosp my exercise specialist said set super small goals that seem laughable. Then when accomplished you can still be just as proud of yourself. So I do have a YMCa membership, a great neighborhood to walk in, and a park to play soccer in w/ my kids. So I figure those are the things I will start with. After I lose 40-50 lbs I want to take up a yoga class.

thanks! Has anyone told you how much you could or should be losing monthly??? No-one said anything at all my appts.

Well goodluck. I would imagine the first week would be the most struggle. My Monday after will be when I get to start solid food. I hope everything is going well for you!!!
