    Want to start running...need encouragement

    I just started running and I'm 258 lbs! it feels awesome and everyday I push further and further. And I do it at a gym where people look at me. I don't care, this is about me, my body, my goals. When I'm 150 and pounding on that treadmill they won't give me a second look. Unless of course they're starring b/c I'm so hott!!!

    Couch to 5k.....come join me!!

    Hi! I'm new here. 4 wks out from banding and haven't had fills so I'm in that horrible spots so I've been extra committed to working out. I started to c25k program 2 days ago. I did 3.2m in 60 minutes and then 56 minutes the second day. I see you guys do it in 30-40 mins so that will be my goal! Guys, I'm not losing any weight. I haven't lost "WEIGHT" in 3 wks now and I've done everything right, even workout 30-60 minutes a day 5-6 days a week. What am I doing wrong??

  10. OMG I loved and hated what I read on this thread. I am 4 wks out and about 2wks from first fill. I'm in bandster hell, officially, although still maintaining what I lost. I have been expecting to have more restriction w/ my first fill and then you guys say no, that sucks. I just pray for some reason I'm different and it's at least minor restriction b/c I can really get down an insane amount of food if I wanted to. Don't need to be doing that. I am planning on adding jogging soon so maybe that will also be the boost I need.

    what sucks the most.......

    I am 4 wks post op today and I'd say the "bandster hell" is the worst part. for the first 2 wks I was doing fab goin' through the "honeymoon phase" w/ restriction, losing weight left and right. But now I have no restriction and I'm giving in to the snack monster. I have faith I can do well b/c I have done really well just minor slip ups. I stay under 1100 calories a day, and work out 30 mins a day, so I'm just keeping my focus on that until my first fill on 7/28!!!

  14. I saw your message of concern on the twenties board. It's been like 5 days since you did that, are you doing any better?? Feeling any better?

  15. Well goodluck. Sign up in the sept or oct group and you get can get to know some people going through the whole process where you are at as well. This is a great site for support!
