As for testing and physicals...I think a week before I had to go in. Physical. nothing crazy. Blood tests. EKG (heart). Some xrays. And then the Upper GI. Which was the worst. I've never had one before. BUT I lived to tell the tale! I wish you all the best. And seriously, email me with any specific questions you may have. The first two weeks after surgery were the hardest! But I'm almost four months out (and 50lbs down) and wouldnt change a thing!
