Hi! I am from Louisiana and had lap band on May 29 and lost about 18 lbs. the first three weeks but thing have slowed way down. I had my fill on the 29th of June. I have lost a total of 22 lbs. but I am hungry. I have not had a bit of trouble at all I hope this works.

I had lap band surgery 9 days ago and have lost 17 lbs. It was done by Dr. Walter Sartor in Monroe, Louisiana at the Louisiana Center for Weight Loss Surgery. The cost was a little less that $14,000.00- but it will be worth it.

I went straight by my Doctor's orders. I love the UNJURY protein powder. I was afraid my body was rejecting the band at first becaue I was running fever. It got up to 101 on Sunday (had the band on Friday) but did not call the doctor until Monday and did not see him until Tuesday. I have been taking a strong antibiotic ever since. I felt like a 18 wheeler hit my for about 5 days. I have only had Suger free Koolaid, Instand breakfast, crystal lite. I am beginning to get a little hungry now but it goes away with just a sip or two. I have not been excercising yet--should have started that 2 days after surgergy but felt too bad

Thanks--today was my 60th birthday and all of us girls at the office usally eat all day and go out to eat. We had smoothies instead.
