My story starts pretty much since puberty. I have always had the problem with weight. While in High School I pretty much starved myself down to 175lbs. After High School I got a job and went to college. After getting married my weight just went up quickly and kept on going. At 17 I was diagnosed with Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome. This diagnoses has really taken me for a ride. When my DH and I were ready to start a family we didn't know it was going to be so hard. Seven years later and one miscarriage (2008) we are still not proud parents but know that God has a plan in store for us. After losing my Mother to Breast Cancer in March 2009 I knew it was time to start taking care of myself. I had my first visit with my Doctor in April 2009 and had my surgery in July. It's now October and I'm down approx. 32lbs. which I am trilled with. I know with out the surgery I would still be were I was. I'm hoping now that this will help our infertility problem and I will defiantly have a better healthy life.
