so far, my ins co has been billed $87000, for surgery and one fill. they have pd dr anethesiology etc, $22,200. they were out-of-network, but will adjust to be in-network billing, i will be paying about $600

i too love my bullet. there are several threads here about them. search "magic bullet" to find them. one hint with it...if you want to shred food like grilled chicken for chicken salad, use the small cup...keeps the food down close to the blades. pulses work best for this, as it lets the peices fall back down to the blades. add dressing after shredding all the chicken and putting it in a bowl. i make chicken salad this way at least 2 times a week, but use blue cheese instead of mayo.

i also use a balance beam type like the dr's offices used to have (before digital). i always weigh first thing in the morning after i get up. only thing i do first is pee. i always weigh with no clothes, so i dont have to facor in anything, no food either. i do not pay attention to the weight loss center's scale. too many varieables. plus, i track from day os surgery, they go by first visit. i had gained since first visit. i consider their scale to be for THEIR records only.

i just had my 3rd fill wed last week. i'm at 6.5 in a 10cc band. i have lost 52 since surgery. no presurgery diet. restriction is pretty good now.

i ask them if they can hold on a sec and then i can listen to them, then i put the phone on mute and speaker and just set the phone down...ruins their call handle time.

i am one of those weird people who always arrive early.generally if i am not 15 min early for an appt, i consider myself late. i work in a call center, so i try to get there so that i am parking about 30 min before my start time. i have to log on to my computer, open several apps, get ice water, etc.

their website lists all less than 200 except the italian, BEFORE adding dressing or cheese. 2 are less than 200 even with the dressing and cheese. main page for website advertises 2 for under 200 calories.

we had the last 2 hrs cancelled today due to snow.the roads were very bad. 2 of the 3 speakers scheduled didnt show up. we actually left right after sacrament was passed. bouth our children(4 and 2) were acting up. My 2 yr old OCD son was having a fit because the overflow accordion doors were not opened up since there was no overflow.

i am not in utah, i am in Liberty, MO. the boundaries were redrawn about 3 yrs ago because Independence stake needed more PH holders. I live close to Liberty stake, but am not in Liberty stake. I do not normally go to stake functions, as i don't want to drive all the way down there. It reminds me of when i did live in utah. i could have walked thru a gate from my backyard, and be in the church parking lot that was my assigned ward. but to drive there, because of the street config, i drove past 2 other ward buildings to get to mine.and anyone in salt lake area knows walking to church in winter is not an option. i am sad Romney dropped out. i did not plan to vote for him because he was LDS, but i think he was the best candidate. i'm not sure who i will vote for, but it wont be mcain or hillary.

President Monson has been one of my fav speakers for a long time. i have read a few of his books. i once wrote him a letter telling him i enjoyed one, and actually got a response. I am excited to have him as our Prophet, and look forward to going to GC in april to sustain him. But i will not be going to my assigned stake center to do so, as it is about 10 miles away, and there is a stake directly across the park from the back of my house. i will go there.

i didn't have a problem in my Sacrament meeting...was just fine....just chew on it til the water comes around. you'll be fine

we use a dr office style balance beam scale. don't know where my wife got it. it never matches what the dr's office does, as meals, clothing etc make a difference. i weigh first thing in the morning with no clothes on. same time every time. if i forget, and i eat, then i wait til next day. i dont always weigh every day. i dont pay any attention to scale at dr office. i weighed morning of surgery, and that is what i use to track my loss.

if this was to pass, then i would recommend legilation to prevent alcoholics from being served drinks in a bar or restaurant...same difference, different addiction

a lot of people are forgetting that this isn't a handout. it will reduce what you would otherwise get back if you get a refund when you file, or in the case of a previous poster, go toward their quarterly payment.
