Thank you all for your comments. I feel better today. I also had an acute sinus infection and broncitis. I'm just glad the meds are working. If you start to show systems of the flu, please go to the Dr. asap. I was feeling bad one day and the next day I could hardly move. Very weak and felt like I couldn't breathe. So please be carefull and take care of yourselves. I work in a room with 28 kindergarteners all day. Needless to say, they don't always cover their mouth while coughing.

I have had the dry heaves twice from a bite too much. It is a terrible feeling but I learned my lesson. I eat smaller amounts and take my time. Hopely it will never happen again.

I'm sorry JoAnne. I know how you feel. My insurance also denied my claim for sleeve surgery. They would pay for by-pass or band only. I decided to self pay and get on with my life. Good luck in whatever decision you make.

Lan, I'm sorry that you are going through such a rough spot in your life. You need to get out and get involved in something. Maybe volunteer work. I know that is easier said than done, but you will be ok. You are far enough out from surgery that you shouldn't worry about a leak. Hold your head up and be proud of yourself for having the courage to get through all the changes so fast. Also remember that you will have a few hormone changes to deal with after surgery (from what I hear anyway). I had a few up and down moments but doing ok now. Hang in there and keep us posted.

Please don't eat those foods. Your stomach is not healed and you could cause a leak. Try drinking the protien shakes. They will fill you up quickly. I really like the chocolate ones from Wal-Mart called Eas. I get the pre-made ones. I hope things get better for you soon. Keep us posted.
