I do not have either. im doing it at FVRH and I have Adoc-FV. I had started WW back in Jan and I heard that ADOC-fv always requires a 6 month diet, but since I had already started WW they just approved it right away. it was awesome!!! Thats cool that we are going to the same office, what city do you live in?

Hi...I am also going through Dr. Laport's office. How did you like the experience with their office...from start to finish? I had my first consult on 5/29. Did my pshych evaluation last saturday and the dr talk this last monday. Do you by chance have Health Net/Talbert MG? I'm just wondering if Talbert is going to make me do the 6mo died first.

can you answer a few questions. I just had my first consultation on 5/29/09. I am in the process of doing all my required classes. One problem. I am hearing that my medical group has been denying cases left and right. My high hopes of getting this done are kind of sinking now. I guess I have to see a nutritionist through my medical group and then one through the clinic to go over eating habits once banded. Is this a normal process? I feel like it is going to take forever. The other problem I have is getting a pshych that is covered to take the evaluation. They want to charge me $175 for the report. Help.

I just had my first consultation. I am trying to schedule all my required classes to get the ball rolling. I was confused about the Psych evaluation so I called the insurance verifier. She proceeds to tell me that my medical group has been denying people left and right for the lap band. I was so upset because my hopes for the procedure were so high. Is this normal? Am I going to have a hard time getting this approved? My BMI is 39.4. I should qualify with flying colors. Please help.
