Get some sleep!!! Don't worry, even if you don't, you'll be on some mighty good drugs that will help you sleep afterwards. Best wishes!

Oh, and just read your comment...do NOT leave the hospital without a prescription for nausea, even if you don't have any problems in the hospital...it will give you peace of mind to know that you have something on hand at home just in case at 3am (if you're getting this post-op just call your doc and have him call a prescription in).

Oh, and too cool that you'll have your Mom to go through this with! What a great built in support system for you both.
