I'm so sorry to hear about your bad experiene. I too went and got my hair, nails, and toenails done before surgery. I'm getting banded on the 15th (6 more days). YAY ME! Thankfully I did not have the terrible experience you had. I have been there though. The ladies that do my hair and nails know me very well, I've been a regular there for over a year. Nails every two weeks, hair every six to eight. I keep very short and punky so it takes a lot of hair cuts. Looks awesome though. Again, sorry for your terrible experience and I hope it works out better for you. You're much prettier and smarter than them anyway. Without your lap band. I'd go back after a while and see if they treat you differently, then tell them to stuff it, a la Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.

How great for you that you're doing so well. I'm getting banded in 6 days. I've been on the liquid diet now since the 1st and I'm doing awesome! Haven't cheated one time and I've lost 9 pounds in 9 days. 39 pounds from onderland as I type this message. Never thought I'd be able to say that this soon. Keep up the great work. Also, anything you can tell me about the surgery I appreciate it. Hope to hear from you soon.

I'm six days away from getting banded. I absolutely can't wait. :wub: My surgery date is the 15th. That's going to be my new birthday. The first day of the rest of my life. I've been on the liquid diet now since the 1st and I've found a lot of new and creative ways to "eat" the shakes. A little tip: If you put ice in them you can trick yourself into thinking you're eating ice cream. :biggrin: Good luck to anyone that reads this that's getting ready to get banded.
